A big thanks to everyone who participated! I appreciate your contributions to the site. It was a lot of fun and there were some really good write-ups along the way.

The champion of the 2014 BGN Community Mock Draft is sports00fan00. He received a 87.46% approval rating for taking Jadeveon Clowney with the Jacksonville Jaguars' pick at No. 3. Kind of too easy, huh? Nevertheless, congratulations, sports00fan00! You'll have the honor of picking for the Eagles in 2015.

With the 32nd overall pick in the 2014 Bleeding Green Nation community mock draft, Seattle GM eagles0132 selects ...

Joel Bitonio, OT, Nevada

People spoke of the Broncos offense like WWE fans talk about The Undertaker at Wrestlemania, unbeatable. That is, until they faced the Seahawks defense who held them to 8 points. It's hard to justify taking a defensive player at this spot for two reasons. The Seahawks still have a majority of their impact players and there wasn't a player who stood out so much it would dumb to pass on them. That being said, I did a little research on nfl.com. Here is a link that made me target offensive line early on.

The Seahawks ranked in the bottom third of the league in sacks allowed and QB hits allowed. This was before they lost Breno Giacomini to the Jets. They need to get a replacement. Russell Wilson is a smaller QB and shouldn't be taking too many hits. They lost Golden Tate, but now they have a full season of (hopefully) healthy Percy Harvin. Percy Harvin is a clear upgrade over Golden Tate and while the depth hasn't changed, I feel that the WR class is extremely deep and they will be able to get one later. I feel the same way with TE. They could target Martavis Bryant in the second round and CJ Fiedorowicz in the third round.

The reason I chose Bitonio at this selection was a combination of his skill set and versatility. He has experience at guard and tackle. This allows the Seahawks to take a guard or tackle later in the draft if the right one is there at a future pick. Bitonio is going to help keep Wilson on his feet for years to come, and as Eagles fans, we all saw the difference between the offensive line of 2012-2013 and 2013-2014.

With the 31st overall pick in the 2014 Bleeding Green Nation community mock draft, Denver GM dceagles selects ...

Xavier Su'a-Filo, OG, UCLA

Now from the front office standpoint this is the smart move by Denver. They are here to win now, not later. The years of having Peyton Manning are dwindling down. What can we expect, 2 more years from this guy maybe 3 if he stays off his back?

The Broncos have gone out in free agency and they added players like DeMarcus Ware, Aqib Talib and TJ Ward to bolster up their defense which took some major losses this year. These guys are not young themselves and there is one thing they are all missing and that is a Super Bowl ring. They also reach out and grabbed a wide receiver in Emmanuel Sanders to add to that potent offense. Will he be able to replace Eric Decker? More than likely as Peyton Manning usually makes the worst or the worst look pretty good.

Denver is relying on Manning to carry this team to the promise land and what better way to ensure this then by adding someone that is going to protect him. It will also help stretch the running game. Denver will add a running back soon enough to the team later in this draft (bonus selection 4th round Charles Sims, RB, West Virginia).

Overall Su'a-Filo's pass blocking is above average and his run blocking is better than anyone in this draft. Su'a-Filo will get down and nasty and push his guy around in the running game. He can pull, trap and do all the things you can ask an OG to do. He will be helping protect Manning's backside and will be a good upgrade to an offensive line that is, in my opinion, average at best. Peyton making the reads and getting the ball out as quickly as he does normally helps their performance look better anyway.

With Denver losing Zane Beadles to Jacksonville in free agency opens everything up for Su'a-Filo to jump right in and make an impact on the offensive line. He has the right measurable - 6'4", 307lbs which is right on par for the OL (Denver's OL avg. 6'4" 314lbs). Reports indicate he could use some strength training but when you are gifted at what you do you can work on the small things just to get even better.

Best pick: Kyle Fuller at No. 25 to the Chargers

Worst pick: Jimmie Ward at No. 21 to the Packers

21) Green Bay Packers - Jimmie Ward, S, NIU - [Pick]

GM: ablesser88
Poll: 30%

Not a lot of love for Jimmie Ward here but I think he will go higher than expected.

22) Philadelphia Eagles - Marqise Lee, WR, USC - [Pick]

GM: jhn
Poll: 70%

Here's the one everyone wanted to see. It's a well-reasoned pick that makes a lot of sense. The Eagles have shown more interest in Lee than any other prospect. Hard to imagine Chip Kelly disappointed walking away with Lee at No. 22.

23) Kansas City Chiefs - Odell Beckham Jr., WR, LSU - [Pick]

GM: PeaceVT
Poll: 85%

Well, it's not like Eagles fans have ever disagreed with an Andy Reid draft pick.

24) Cincinnati Bengals - Bradley Roby, CB, OSU - [Pick]

GM: deg0ey
Poll: 45%

Roby is one of the most polarizing cornerbacks from this class so I'm not surprised to see the approval poll split here. I happen to think it makes sense for Cincy.

25) San Diego Chargers - Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech - [Pick]

GM: StoneColeKiller58
Poll: 87%

Great in-depth write-up for this pick. The closest approval poll to challenge Clowney at No. 3 so far.

26) Cleveland Browns - Darqueze Dennard, CB, MSU - [Pick]

GM: P_Roach17
Poll: 52%

The Browns already drafted their QB at No. 4 so Mike Pettine couldn't resist taking a defensive player later on.

27) New Orleans Saints - Kelvin Benjamin, WR, FSU - [Pick]

GM: bebin
Poll: 40%

I can see why a wide receiver makes sense here but I'm just not sure about KB as a first round prospect.

28) Carolina Panthers - Jason Verrett, CB, TCU - [Pick]

GM: MikeKafka
Poll: 53%

Seems like a best player available kind of pick with 6 receivers and 4 offensive tackles already off the board.

29) New England Patriots - Ra'Shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota - [Pick]

GM: Amateur_Hour
Poll: 56%

I can't remember seeing a mock draft where the Patriots aren't taking Hageman. The Pats could really use an answer at NT.

30) San Francisco 49ers - Ryan Shazier, LB, OSU - [Pick]

GM: AndyMcNabb
Poll: 45%

I'm surprised that Shazier fell this far. This pick seems to create a logjam for the 49ers at inside linebacker but it could be a case of taking the best player available. It feels like the 49ers will be trade up candidates in the real draft.

Up next: Final two picks on Monday: Denver and Seattle. Then a recap of the entire BGN Mock Draft on Tuesday including the announcement of this year's winner.

Andrew Weber-US PRESSWIRE

With the 30th overall pick in the 2014 Bleeding Green Nation community mock draft, San Francisco 49ers GM AndyMcNabb selects ...

At the conclusion of their 2013 NFL season, the San Francisco 49ers were one game away from a repeat visit to the Super Bowl. While the team's offense showed sporadic flashes of greatness throughout the year, it was the team's defense (which ranked top 5 all season) that kept them relevant in a very competitive NFC West division.

The defense, whose secondary was at times considered suspect, was led by a stout front seven with Pro Bowl LB Navarro Bowman at the helm. Bowman, who led the team last season in solo tackles with 120, was unfortunately injured in the NFC title game and is not expected to return until mid-season at earliest. Backup Michael Wilhoite was able to perform decently when filling in for Patrick Willis for 2 games last season, but is expected to compete for the Bowman's starting role alongside depth players Nick Moody, and Darius Fleming.

At pick #30 the 49ers would be wise to shore up the LB position and maintain its defensive dominance with an immediate impact player that can fill the void left by Bowman. Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio likes players who are versatile, athletic and explosive, attributes that are embodied by Ohio State linebacker Ryan Shazeir. Shazier is a 6'2 237lb defensive force whose football instincts and ability have been referred to as freakish. He posted a 42in vertical and a phenomenal (yet unofficial) 4.38 40-time at Ohio States ProDay.

Shazier is a versatile player that has played at DE, Inside LB and Outside LB. His 101 solo tackles (24 for loss) last season ranked 3rd in the nation and as a junior he was on pace to set multiple Ohio State tackle records next season. Shazier has been mocked going as early as pick 20 to the Cardinals but fortunately for Jim Harbaugh & company he is available and cannot be overlooked at pick 30.

With the 29th overall pick in the 2014 Bleeding Green Nation community mock draft, New England GM Amateur_Hour selects ...

Ra'Shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota

6'6", 310 lbs

"Big Risk, Big Reward"

Hageman is an enigma. He may be the riskiest player in the top 50 (top 100, even). I made this pick knowing that many of you will disagree with me, so feel free to let loose with how this is the worst pick you've ever seen and I should be perma-banned from BGN. But first, let me attempt to justify how I came to this conclusion.

PROs

Hageman has all the tools you look for in a DT: MASSIVE size, impressive athleticism, great strength, above average measurables, including great explosiveness (see broad jump, vertical jump, and bench press performance for a long-armed fellow). Hageman can shed blocks, has excellent power when he gets himself positioned correctly, and makes good use of his length by keeping his hands up to knock down passes at the line.

CONs:

Hageman was never able to put it all together and dominate for Minnesota. He occasionally appears to take some plays off. Sometimes allows his pads to get too high, will let himself get turned and sealed off by blockers. There are a number of other issues similar to these, but all criticisms tend to center around the fact that he just rarely "plays to his size" and needs coaching to develop.

So, if Hageman is still considered a potential top 30-50 prospect, where is the most likely place he could succeed? He needs some serious coaching, some strong discipline to keep his motor running, and a place where he will not drastically alter the team's success if he takes half a season (or more) to begin coming in to his own. The Patriots are the first team that comes to mind when you describe this ideal situation.

Where does Hageman fit in?: the Patriots have a major need on their defensive line. Not only are both of their starting DTs (Tommy Kelly and Vince Wilfork) over 32 years old, but they are also not producing the way they used to. Additionally, Hageman has the VERSATILITY (as we know, the ONLY attribute that truly matters) to play all along the defensive line for the Pats. NT, DT, even at DE occasionally. He has the potential to take over anyone's job from day 1 or to be a solid rotational player until he develops further.

TL;DR: This guy is huge (in both measurables and potential). If there is anywhere he'll succeed, it's with Belicheat in Foxboro.

With the 28th overall pick in the 2014 Bleeding Green Nation community mock draft, Carolina GM MikeKafka selects ...

Jason Verrett, CB, TCU

With the retirement of LT Jordan Gross coupled with the loss of offensive guards Travelle Wharton and Geoff Hangartner, the kneejerk reaction would be for the Carolina Panthers to address the offensive line. However, with OTs Taylor Lewan and Zach Martin off the board there is no other tackle worth investing a first round pick in. Morgan Moses moves like the strong fat guy that he is. Antonio Richardson is just not good enough to take this early. Cyrus Kouandjio has a Da'quan Bowers knee.

The departure of Steve Smith left the receiving corps in shambles, but again with top talent like Marqise Lee, Brandin Cooks, and Odell Beckham off the board there isn't anyone else screaming first round pick in a draft with this much depth at the position. The Panthers are better left hoping that Moses, Richardson, Allen Robinson, Kelvin Benjamin, or Jordan Mathews is there to give them a boost on the offensive side of the ball.

So why Jason Verrett? He's 5'9 and too short to cover guys on the outside right? Verrett tied for the third-highest vertical at the combine at thirty-nine inches, tied for first with a 4.00 20 yard shuttle, tied for second with a 4.38 40-yard dash, and tied for third again in the broad jump at 10'8". This guy has everything you want in your cornerback physically short of being a couple inches closer to the clouds.

On the field, Verrett is just as impressive. In 2012, his last healthy full season, he finished fifth in the NCAA with six interceptions and credited with the league lead with twenty-two pass deflections by sports-reference.com. Throw on his tape against the soon-to-be-pro triumvirate of Odell Beckham, Jarvis Landry, and Zach Mettenberger from this past season courtesy of draftbreakdown.com. He may have played through a torn labrum this past season (tough guy alert) but he doesn't miss a beat. That sack of Mettenberger makes me wish we had room for another 5'9 playmaker.

Best-case scenario, the Panthers get a solid no. 2 corner with the 28th pick; worst-case, they get themselves a Boykin of their own. Either way, he makes an already dominant defense that much scarier for opposing quarterbacks. Wait, a Panthers mock where the mock isn't a receiver or a lineman?

With the 27th overall pick in the 2014 Bleeding Green Nation community mock draft, New Orleans GM bebin selects ...

Kelvin Benjamin, WR, FSU

Disclaimer: Although I haven't read all the write-ups of my fellow faux BGN GM's, I don't believe anyone else questioned their initial pick and then completely hated it. But in the sake of continuity and for the sake of staying true to my initial choice, I will give my opinion on why I chose Kelvin Benjamin and my thought process at that time.

The New Orleans Saints, the Who DAT nation, have been a mainstay near or at the top of the NFC since 2006. This success can mostly be attributed to Sean Payton and Drew Brees who have made the Saints offense arguably one of the most dominant offenses in history in terms of continued success. The defense has had its share of successes, disappointments and scandals (BOUNTYGATE) during that stretch.

Present Outlook

Coming into this season, the Saints are among the leaders in the league in terms of age. Some key members will be entering that stage in their careers where father time might start to catch up with them. These players include Drew Brees who will be 35 and his most consistent weapon during the past 7-8 years Marques Colston who will be turning 31. Although for the most part most of the roster will be entering their prime which makes it the perfect time for the Front Office to strategize a "win now" type strategy. Jimmy Graham, the Saints most explosive weapon is at odds with the team due to contract issues and disapproval due to offseason moves. The defense is a work in progress, at one point last season they were lauded to be elite by some analysts but towards the end of the season this label proved to be folly.

The areas of need that I ascertained when I glanced over the Saints roster and conversed with Saints fans were at Wide Receiver, Cornerback, Center, Edgerusher and Tackle. Although most fans didn't believe that Tackle was an immediate need, I believe the position as it stands now is average at best.

On The Clock

Going into the draft in my head I expected to have one of the players below on the board at my pick but was disappointed when none of them were available.

Wide Receiver- Odell Beckham Jr., Brandin Cooks, Marquise Lee

Cornerback - Justin Gilbert, Darqueze Dennard, Kyle Fuller

Edge Rusher- Kony Ealy

At that moment the next five on my board were Kelvin Benjamin, Dee Ford, Jason Verrett, Ryan Shazier and Marcus Martin.

The Prospects

At the time I was picking to say I was indecisive, would be an understatement. I was torn between three prospects Kelvin Benjamin, Dee Ford and Jason Verrett as they were neck to neck in terms of value to me. I eventually went with Kelvin Benjamin and below I will explain why.

Kelvin Benjamin -

If I could use one word to describe Kelvin Benjamin, it would be raw. Unlike Greg Cossell, who has been on the record saying that Benjamin runs the route tree better than Mike Evans, I believe Benjamin is in development in that aspect. His physical attributes are what make him a prospect to salivate over. He is a legit 6'5, 230 plus wide receiver with a monstrous wingspan enabling him to catch almost anything thrown in his radius (think Plaxico). Although his straight-line speed is not even in the same stratosphere as his counterparts i.e. Watkins and Cooks, his short area quickness enables him to create separation which would enable him to use his physical traits to their fullest in jump ball situations. While his length and weight can be considered strength, it is also a weakness as he is hinder by it as it makes him less fluid. The tape shows a player who drops too many passes for a player as skilled as Benjamin. He shows poor form and recognition when catching passes which leads to many of these drops. These are traits that can be coached up. Benjamin also has come under fire recently by scouts and by front offices.

So why did I pick Benjamin over Ford and Verrett. To be totally honest it was a coin toss. Yes, a actual coin toss and of all places the internet. (REC FOR INTERNET COINTOSS, REC ME YOU #$%&#$&)

Other than the coin toss there are other reasons I chose Benjamin, these include as stated above the age of Colston and disputes between the Saints and Jimmy Graham. Benjamin would be a canvas for Sean Payton to mold into Colston's replacement while also keeping Graham at bay. The second reason is Drew Brees, Drew Brees is among the handful of QB's who can make even mediocre receivers look like gold, like his counterparts Manning( the one who does charity work not bumface), Brady, Rodgers, *cough* Folsean Dynamite, etc. The last reason I chose Benjamin as one of my finalists was because of the drop in the Saints red zone percentage from the 2012 season to the 2013 season. They were 2nd in the league in 2012 while they dropped to 12th in 2013.

Dee Ford - Another one of my finalists. Dee Ford offered the Edge Rusher the Saints covet or should I say "the" Rob Ryan wants. Ford who possesses great speed and good power would work effectively in Ryan's system offering versatility as an Outside Linebacker and in certain situations as a Defensive End. The knocks on Ford include small sample size in terms of production in college, questions of him dropping into coverage, size and his run defense.

Jason Verrett - The other finalist in my Saints sweepstakes. Verrett is my favorite player in the whole draft, just watching him on tape is a pleasure. His knocks mostly come in the form of his physical stature. He is everything you look in a elite corner. He shows great man cover skills, adequate off man skills, is athletic, agile, has great hip movement and shows a knack to be around the ball. Basically if you wanted to have a cornerback baby you would breed with him. Unfortunately for Verrett he's not as tall, "strong" or lengthy as many in the league like their corner's to be. That being said if he was 2-3 inches taller many would be lauding him a top 10 pick.

TL;DR - My picks came down to Verrett, Benjamin and Dee Ford. By the process of coin toss I picked Benjamin.
