Can the Eagles finish the season on a high note?

With Eagles training camp set to begin in less than two weeks, let's look ahead to the upcoming season. I'm going to spend the next couple of days breaking down Philadelphia's 2016 schedule into four quarters. As a reminder, click here for the entire 2016 Eagles schedule. Now let's look at the final stretch, which could be very important. For the first time in franchise history, the Eagles will host all three NFC East teams in Philadelphia over the final four weeks of the season.

Week 14 - Washington Redskins (Dec. 11, 1:00 PM)

Despite going 0-2 against Washington last season, I don't think it's impossible for the Eagles to flip the script and go 2-0 on them. I think a split is more realistic, though. Let's say each team wins their home game for now.

Week 15 - at Baltimore Ravens (Dec. 18, 1:00 PM)

The Eagles last played the Ravens in 2012. Philadelphia defeated Baltimore, who would eventually go on to be Super Bowl champs. The Eagles, meanwhile, finished with a 4-12 record.

The Ravens are 23-25 since winning their last championship ring. Baltimore is coming off a 5-11 performance in 2015. Despite the poor record, there's a case to be made the Ravens were better than it seemed. Baltimore finished 17th in DVOA and "only" ninth to last in point differential (ahead of the 8-8 Colts). The Ravens will be getting Joe Flacco back for this season so they should be expected to rebound. This game won't be an easy one, especially on the road.

Week 16 - New York Giants (Dec. 22, 8:25 PM)

Have I already mentioned that the Eagles own the Giants? (Yes, I have.) I really don't see why I shouldn't predict Philly to beat the G-Men until New York proves otherwise.

Week 17 - Dallas Cowboys (Jan. 1, 1:00 PM ET)

Earlier in this schedule preview series, I talked about how good the Eagles have been while playing in Dallas. Unfortunately for the Birds, the opposite is true for the Cowboys. Jerry Jones' team is 4-0 in their last four trips to Philly. The Eagles haven't beaten the Cowboys at home since the 2011 season. There's no better time for the Eagles to break the streak than this game, but it won't be easy. No matter how good or bad these teams are by this point, a late season Eagles versus Cowboys game is always going to be tough.

What will the final record be?

It's not out of the realm of possibility that the Eagles could sweep their NFC East opponents here. Based on my previous projections, that could put them around 7-9 or 8-8 at this point. That might be good enough to make the playoffs if the division is as weak as it's expected to be.

Then again, this final stretch could be virtually meaningless if the Eagles end up being as bad as some think they can be.

Will the Eagles be in good shape before the final stretch run?

With Eagles training camp set to begin in less than two weeks, let's look ahead to the upcoming season. Now let's look at the next four.

Week 10 - Atlanta Falcons (Nov. 13, 1:00 PM)

The 2015 Falcons were the opposite of the 2015 Lions. Atlanta got off to a hot 6-1 start before finishing the season at 8-8 and missing the playoffs. The Falcons did have an impressive win near the end of the season; they ruined the Carolina Panthers' chance at a perfect record.

Eagles fans won't soon forget how Matt Ryan and Julio Jones torched Byron Maxwell in Week 1 last year. Maxwell is gone, but it's not like the Eagles replaced him with stud corners. Dealing with Jones will be a tough task once again. The Falcons upgraded on the aging Roddy White by replacing him with Mohamed Sanu, who is a nice No. 2 option.

The defensive-minded Dan Quinn will be looking for improvement from Atlanta's defense. The Falcons used a first round pick on pass rusher Vic Beasley last year and another on safety Keanu Neal in 2016.

Atlanta can rarely be trusted to win on the road, so I feel somewhat confident taking the Eagles to win here.

Week 11 - at Seattle Seahawks (Nov. 20, 4:25 PM)

Arguably the toughest game on Philadelphia's schedule. The Seahawks are one of the best teams in the NFC and it's very hard to beat them on their home field. Russell Wilson has the ability to neutralize the pass rush with his mobility. The Seahawks no longer have Marshawn Lynch, which hurts their running game, but Thomas Rawls showed promise as a rookie in 2015.

Seattle's defense against Philadelphia's offense is a huge mismatch. Points are going to be hard to by for the Eagles in this one. Feels like a loss.

Week 12 - Green Bay Packers (Nov. 28, 8:30 PM)

After facing Seattle, things don't get easier. The Eagles travel home to Philly to play the Packers on Monday Night Football. Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz has experience going up against Aaron Rodgers from their time together in the NFC North. Schwartz is going to need to scheme up something special in order to stop one of the best football players in the universe.

The Packers aren't an incredibly impressive team outside of Rodgers. If not for a Hail Mary win against Detroit, Green Bay would have ended the season 3-6 in their final nine games. The Eagles might be able to score on this Packers team, but it will be hard to stop them from scoring. I'll say the Pack take this one.

Week 13 - at Cincinnati Bengals (Dec. 4, 1:00 PM ET)

As if going to face the Bengals in Cincinnati wasn't challenging enough, the Eagles have to do it on short rest. Andy Dalton isn't thought of as one of the scarier quarterbacks to face but he was pretty good last year. Cincy lost offensive coordinator Hue Jackson, so we'll see if that has an impact on their offense. The Bengals' defense is talented, too. I can't predict an Eagles win here.

(A brief aside: How is Marvin Lewis still head coach? The Bengals have had regular season success, yes, but they're 0-6 in the playoffs since 2003. How many more first round exits can he survive?)

Is 2-2 possible?

It's going to be very tough for the Birds to get two wins out of this stretch. 0-4 isn't out of the question. The feeling here is that the Eagles go 1-3 in this stretch. If that's the case, I have them around 4-8 or 5-7 at this point. That's not obviously not great, but they still might be alive in a weak division. Keep in mind Philadelphia hosts all three division opponents at home over the final four weeks of the schedule.

Tomorrow I'll preview the fourth and final quarter of the Eagles' schedule. For now, what say you about these four games? Where will the Eagles stand after the third quarter?

Now let's look at the next four.

6) at Washington Redskins (Oct. 16, 1:00 PM)

The Eagles are 0-3 in their last three games against Washington. You have to go all the way back to a stretch from 1985 through 1987 to find the last time the Eagles lost to Washington more than twice in a row. Washington's recent dominance of the Eagles is disheartening, but one can question how long it will last. Despite winning the NFC East last season, Washington wasn't really a great team. They didn't defeat a squad with a winning record all year. Their starting quarterback, Kirk Cousins, put together a good season but he has to prove it wasn't a one-year wonder. He also has to prove he can beat a winning team for once in his career; he's 0-6 to this point.

The good news for Cousins is that he has some nice offensive weapons to work with. When healthy, Jordan Reed is a dynamic threat at tight end. The trio of DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garçon, and rookie first round pick Josh Doctson could form to be one of the NFL's most dangerous wide receiver groups. Philadelphia's unsettled cornerback situation will be tested in this matchup.

Though it may seem like I try to discredit Washington, I don't think they're bad. It's just that I don't see them as a truly good team. They're beatable. This game marks Doug Pederson's first NFC East battle.

7) Minnesota Vikings (Oct. 23, 1:00 PM)

The 2015 Vikings have a little bit of the 2013 Eagles to them. It's not a perfect comparison, but my point is that the Vikings seemed to be able to take care of weaker competition last year while struggling against some of the better teams. Perhaps Minnesota will make the leap from "good" to "great" this year. In order for that to happen, the Vikes are going to need more production out of Teddy Bridgewater. The third-year quarterback wasn't all that impressive last season. Bridgewater threw only 14 touchdowns to nine interceptions. He ranked 17th in yards per attempt and 22nd in passer rating. Football Outsiders rated Bridgewater 21st in DYAR and 22nd in DVOA.

I don't think this is an easy win for the Vikings. Schwartz's defense will put Bridgewater to the test. The bigger concern for Philadelphia is how their offense will fare against Mike Zimmer's defense. I'll give Minnesota the benefit of the doubt for now, but I hardly think this is a sure loss for the Birds.

8) at Dallas Cowboys (Oct. 30, 8:30 PM)

Philadelphia's first game against Dallas this season takes place on Sunday Night Football. There's been a weird trend going on with the Eagles and Cowboys where they can only beat each other in the other team's stadium. The Eagles are 4-1 in their last five games in Dallas, with the one loss coming during Philadelphia's four-win 2012 campaign.

It's hard to predict how the Cowboys are going to do this year because a lot of their success depends on the health of Tony Romo. Romo is 36 and has dealt with a number of injury issues recently. Schwartz and the Eagles' pass rush will want to attack him often. Dallas will likely try to mitigate the number of Romo attempts by relying heavily on their ground game, not unlike their 2014 model. That strategy also aims to prevent their defense from getting exposed. Stopping the run will be key for the Eagles in this one. If the Birds can do that, which is easier said than done, a win is achievable.

9) at New York Giants (Nov. 6, 1:00 PM)

As I often point out, the Eagles own the Giants. The Birds are 13-3 in their last 16 against Big Blue. Maybe New York's losing streak will turn around now that Tom Coughlin is gone and the mighty Ben McAdoo is in place. Eli Manning has already said the Giants will "definitely" make the playoffs. Odell Beckham Jr. will likely put Eagles receivers, who merely struggle to catch the ball, to shame by comparison.

The Giants are not without their weaknesses, though. They don't have much of a ground game and their defense is still suspect despite New York's efforts to spend a lot of money on defensive players this offseason. It remains to be seen if defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo can oversee a defense that isn't a disaster.

I'll give this game to the G-Men for now. It's going to be hard for the Eagles to win two division games on the road, and two out of three in four weeks.

Is 3-1 possible?

Given the weakened state of the NFC East, I don't think it's impossible the Birds could get three wins by either sweeping the division or grabbing two out of three and upsetting the Vikings. I don't think it's the most realistic situation, though. I see the Eagles going 2-2 here. So I have the Eagles around 3-5 or 4-4 after the first half of the season.

Tomorrow I'll preview the third quarter of the Eagles' schedule. For now, what say you about these four games? Where will the Eagles stand after the second quarter?

Can the Eagles get off to a good start this year?

With Eagles training camp set to begin in two weeks, let's look ahead to the upcoming season. I'm going to spend the next couple of days breaking down Philadelphia's 2016 schedule into four quarters. As a reminder, click here for the entire 2016 Eagles schedule. Today we'll focus on the first four games.

1) Cleveland Browns (Sept. 11, 1:00 PM)

The Eagles are already favored to win this game as 7.5 points. It's no secret that the Browns are, yet again, expected to be one of the worst teams in the NFL. Cleveland finished with the No. 2 overall pick last season. They didn't do much to improve their roster through free agency. In fact, just the opposite happened. The Browns let a number of players leave to sign elsewhere.

The Browns simply lack talent, especially when it comes to the most important position: quarterback. It appears Robert Griffin III is the favorite to start. Griffin was obviously tremendous as a rookie in 2012 but he's never come close to replicating that level of success. Four years later, Hue Jackson is attempting to get the most out of Griffin's ability.

I think the Eagles open the Doug Pederson era with a win here. Cleveland might provide a tougher challenge than expected, but the Birds have home field advantage. Vintage Sam Bradford will start slow before finishing strong in the second half.

2) at Chicago Bears (Sept. 19, 8:30 PM)

Philadelphia's Week 2 game is set to take place on Monday Night Football. Neither the Bears are incredibly compelling on a national level, but here they are. It'll be interesting to see how the Bears fare in John Fox's second year on the job. A lot of Chicago's offensive success last year came under offensive coordinator Adam Gase, who did a good job of working with Jay Cutler. Gase is now gone.

This is a winnable game for the Birds. The Bears aren't that imposing. With that said, I never trust that surface at Soldier Field. It's terrible. Maybe it'll be less bad since this game is taking place early in the year. Still, I can't help but feel like it gives the Bears some kind of advantage. I think Chicago takes this one after Philadelphia fails to get their offense going on such a bad surface.

3) Pittsburgh Steelers (Sept. 25, 4:25 PM)

After playing in Chicago, the Eagles will travel home to face Pittsburgh on a short week. The Birds are 8-0 all-time when playing against the Steelers in Philadelphia. That streak will certainly be put to the test this season. The Steelers have a lot of talent on offense. Offensive coordinator Todd Haley has gotten great production out of Ben Roethlisberger recently. The Stillers have a lot of talent on offense with Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell are the main weapons. Newly acquired tight end Ladarius Green could prove to be a more dynamic threat than the aging Heath Miller, who retired this offseason.

Jim Schwartz's defense will really be put to the test in this one. His unit is going to need to turn in a big day because the Birds can't match the kind of offensive firepower the Steelers possess. It's hard for me to predict an Eagles win here.

4) BYE

The Eagles have a very early bye week this year, which is weird.

5) at Detroit Lions (Oct. 9, 1:00 PM)

The Lions were a tale (pun intended) of two teams last season. Detroit got off to a bad start. At 1-7, it looked like they were going to be one of the worst teams in the league. Then the Lions made some in-season changes such as firing offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi and promoting a guy by the name of Jim Bob Cooter (for real). Cooter's takeover coincided with a strong finish to the season. The Lions went 6-2 in the second half of the year, which helped head coach Jim Caldwell save his job.

The big question here: was Detroit's second half success a sign of things to come? Or will teams be able to catch up to Cooter after having an offseason to study him? One thing is for sure: the absence of Calvin Johnson, who retired, will hurt Detroit. Johnson had three touchdowns in Detroit's romping of Philadelphia on Thanksgiving last season.

I expect the Eagles to keep this game closer than the last time these two teams met. Coming off the bye should help. You can also bet Schwartz is going to get his guys fired up for this one. He'd love to have his players carry him off in Detroit yet again. I still have the Lions winning for now.

Is 3-1 possible?

The Eagles could very well get off to a 2-0 start. 3-1 could be within reach, which assumes a loss to the Steelers and a win over the Lions. I see 2-2 at best here, though.

Tomorrow I'll preview the second quarter of the Eagles' schedule. For now, what say you about these four games? Where will the Eagles stand after the first quarter?

The entire 2016 NFL schedule has been revealed and you can see the [complete Eagles schedule] here.

Winning in the NFL is hardly easy, but some weeks are less difficult than others. Here's a ranking of all the games on the Philadelphia Eagles' 2016 schedule in order of most to least winnable. (Note that I have the Eagles finishing with an 8-8 record.)

Week 1 - Cleveland Browns (Sept. 11, 1:00 PM ET, CBS)

There's a pretty good chance the Eagles can start out the season with a 1-0 record. They're already 7.5 point favorites to beat the Browns in Week 1. Cleveland tied the Titans for the worst record in the NFL last year at 3-13. The Browns didn't really do anything in free agency to try to upgrade their roster. They allowed a lot of their free agents to sign elsewhere and didn't do much to replace them. The biggest move the Browns made was signing Robert Griffin III to compete for the starting quarterback job. Speaking of, here's a question for you: is this the only game on Philadelphia's schedule where you can definitively say Sam Bradford is better than the opponent's starting quarterback? Some other weeks might be up for debate, but there's no argument Bradford is better than Cleveland's starter.

Week 10 - Atlanta Falcons (Nov. 13, 1:00 PM ET, FOX)

I have a hard time believing in the Falcons outside of their dome field advantage. Atlanta is 8-16 in their last 24 road games. The Falcons looked really weak down the stretch last season after getting off to such a hot start. The Eagles have won eight out of their last 10 games against the Falcons in Philadelphia. This one should be fairly winnable for the Birds in midnight green.

Week 16 - New York Giants (Dec. 22, 8:25 PM ET, NBC/NFLN)

The G-Men have been outscored 54-7 in their last two games at Lincoln Financial Field. Quite simply, the Eagles own the Giants in recent history. Maybe that will change with Chip Kelly and Tom Coughlin both gone, but for now I don't see why Eagles fans shouldn't be confident about being able to beat New York.

Week 5 - @ Detroit Lions (Oct. 9, 1:00 PM ET, FOX)

A lot of people are not fans of the Eagles' early bye in Week 4, but it could come in handy while preparing for Detroit.

Week 2 - @ Chicago Bears (Sept. 19, 8:30 PM ET, ESPN)

Losing Adam Gase could hurt Jay Cutler, who finished with a passer rating over 90 for the first time in his career last season. That awful surface at Soldier Field could hurt the Birds' chances of winning, but I don't think Chicago is all that intimidating.

Week 17 - Dallas Cowboys (Jan. 1, 1:00 PM ET, FOX)

This division game at the end of the year that could potentially decide the NFC East might not be easy at all depending how the Cowboys bounce back this year. The good news for the Birds is that they have a significant rest advantage in this game. Philadelphia has 10 days off to prepare for this one while Dallas only has six.

Week 14 - Washington Redskins (Dec. 11, 1:00 PM ET, FOX)

I'll rank Washington as the most difficult of the Eagles' three NFC East home games.

Week 9 - @ New York Giants (Nov. 6, 1:00 PM ET, FOX)

The Giants have a bye week before this game.

Week 8 - @ Dallas Cowboys (Oct. 30, 8:30 PM ET, NBC)

The bad news for the Eagles is that the Cowboys are coming off their bye week. The good news is that the Eagles are 6-1 in their last seven games in Dallas.

Week 6 - @ Washington Redskins (Oct. 16, 1:00 PM ET, FOX)

The Eagles haven't wont at FedEx Field since 2013. They've lost a couple of ugly games down there in <strike>D.C</strike>. Maryland since then. Washington was the best team in a bad NFC East last season so I'll give them the advantage here.

Week 7 - Minnesota Vikings (Oct. 23, 1:00 PM ET, FOX)

The Vikings went from 7-9 in 2014 to winning the NFC North at 11-5 last season. Minnesota has some nice pieces in place and a good head coach in Mike Zimmer. They'll have an advantage in this game since they'll be coming off of their bye week.

Week 3 - Pittsburgh Steelers (Sept. 25, 4:25 PM ET, CBS)

Philadelphia's 8-0 all-time home record against the Steelers is in jeopardy this season. Pittsburgh's offense scored an average of 32 points per game in the second half of last season, and that was without having Le'Veon Bell. Jim Schwartz's defense will really be put to the test. This game also comes on a short week for the Birds.

Week 15 - @ Baltimore Ravens (Dec. 18, 1:00 PM ET, FOX)

The Ravens are primed to bounce back after a down year that wasn't as bad as it seemed. John Harbaugh, who was reportedly one of the Eagles' main head coaching targets, clearly has the edge over Doug Pederson here.

Week 12 - Green Bay Packers (Nov. 28, 8:30 PM ET, ESPN)

Aaron Rodgers destroyed the Eagles the last time these two teams played. He's hard to stop. The hope is that Jim Schwartz will have a better idea to stop him than Billy Davis did. For what it's worth, Schwartz does has experience facing off against Rodgers from their time together in the NFC North. Schwartz also devised a game plan that shut Rodgers down when the Packers played the Bills in 2014. Peep Rodgers' awful stat line from that Buffalo game: 17/42 (40.5%), 185 yards (4.4 y/a), 0 TD, 2 INT, 1 FUM.

Week 13 - @ Cincinnati Bengals (Dec. 4, 1:00 PM ET, FOX)

The Eagles have to travel to Cincinnati after playing on Monday Night Football. The short week certainly won't help Philadelphia beat a Bengals team that is 19-4-1 in their last 24 home games.

Week 11 - @ Seattle Seahawks (Nov. 20, 4:25 PM ET, CBS)

Really hard to see the Eagles walking out of Seattle with a win. The Seahawks are 27-5 in their last 32 regular season home games. Three of those losses came against divisional opponents. The Eagles' offense was really bad last season. We don't know how it'll look in 2016 but I don't like Bradford's chances against that Seattle defense.

The Philadelphia Eagles' 2016 schedule has been revealed (click here) and there are already plenty of record predictions out there. I've seen a number of people say the Eagles' schedule looks pretty tough on paper. Others seem more optimistic about Philadelphia's chances. So let's take a look at both sides of the coin: the positives and the negatives.

Positives

• Let's start with Week 1. The Eagles will open the season at home against the Browns. The Birds are already 7.5 favorites to win that game. That's a good chance for them to start the season 1-0.

• Travel won't be a huge factor in this schedule. The Eagles only have to travel 6,514 roundtrip miles outside of their 4,758 mile trip to Seattle and back home.

• The Eagles have a bye in Week 4 (more on that later) before they have two straight road games: at Detroit in Week 5 and at Washington in Week 6.

• Philadelphia will have a significant rest advantage over Dallas in Week 17. The Cowboys play on Monday Night Football in Week 16 (Dec. 26) before playing the Eagles six days later. The Birds, meanwhile, play the Giants on Thursday Night Football in Week 16 (Dec. 22). That gives them 10 days of rest, which is four more than the Cowboys have. That season finale could potentially decide the division.

• For the first time in franchise history, the Eagles will play all three of their NFC East rivals at home in the final four weeks. That could be a nice advantage to have down the stretch.

Negatives

• The early bye week isn't cool. I think it'd be better placed in the middle of the reason when players might be in more need of rest.

• That three game stretch from Week 11 through Week 13 looks brutal. Getting a win in Seattle is really tough. Not having to play at Lambeau Field is good for the Birds but the Packers will still be a big challenge. Then the Birds have to travel to Cincinnati on a short week to play the Bengals. Things could get ugly in that trio.

• Last year the Eagles didn't play a single game against a team coming off their bye week. This year they get three games like that, and they're all in a row: Week 7 against the Vikings, Week 8 against the Cowboys, and Week 9 against the Giants. Two of those games are against division rivals and both of them are on the road. So that's a tough break.

...

Last year, 97% of voters said they liked the Eagles' schedule. I have a feeling the poll below isn't going to be so favorable this time around.

What does *your* Eagles schedule prediction look like?

The NFL schedule is out and everyone has made their way-too-early record predictions for the 2016 season. I personally have the Eagles finishing at 8-8. ESPN Eagles writer Phil Sheridan is a little less optimistic than I am. He has the Birds finishing at 7-9. The rest of ESPN is even more down on the Eagles. I went through the game-by-game predictions from the ESPN writer for each of the Eagles' 2016 opponents. Here are the results.

Week 1 vs. Browns - WIN

"Philadelphia does not seem like a threatening team. But it has enough talent to beat a Browns team without much talent in the season opener in Philadelphia." - Pat McManamon

Week 2 at Bears - LOSS

"The Eagles need some time to dig out of the mess left by Chip Kelly. Jay Cutler vs. Sam Bradford? I’ll take Cutler." - Jeff Dickerson

Week 3 vs. Steelers - WIN

"The Steelers oddly have struggled in Philadelphia, losing their past eight games there, including an average of 13.3 points per game scored in their past three trips. The franchise's last victory in Philly came in 1965. The offense should fare better than in previous matchups, but new Eagles coach Doug Pederson benefits from history." - Jeremy Fowler

Week 4 - BYE

Week 5 at Lions - LOSS

"The Eagles were a mess when the Lions beat them last season. It's a new offense and the return (again) of Jim Schwartz as defensive coordinator. Expect Philadelphia to pressure Matthew Stafford. But Schwartz is still building this defense to his liking, so the Lions should be able to handle it." - Michael Rothstein

Week 6 at Washington - WIN

"The Eagles will be in transition this season; the Redskins are not. Washington has won three straight against the Eagles, but they haven’t won four in a row over them since 1985-87." - John Keim

Week 7 vs. Vikings - LOSS

"It's difficult to know at this juncture what to make of the Eagles, who'll have a markedly different look after three years under Chip Kelly. But coming off a bye week, the Vikings should be fresh, and they'll be able to secure another road win on the East Coast." - Ben Goessling

Week 8 at Cowboys - LOSS

"The Cowboys have to get off the losing train and there's no better place to do it than in prime time against an Eagles team with a new coach in Doug Pederson, a new defensive scheme and no DeMarco Murray." - Todd Archer

Week 9 at Giants - LOSS

"No team is happier to see Chip Kelly in San Francisco than the Giants, who were 1-5 against the Eagles in Kelly’s three seasons as their coach. Beckham finds things easy against that Eagles' secondary, and the Giants come off the bye to beat Philly for the first time since 2013." - Dan Graziano

Week 10 vs. Falcons - LOSS

"It’s never easy on the road, but the Falcons play a different style of Eagles team without the Chip Kelly up-tempo action. New Eagles coach Doug Pederson still has to put his stamp on his new team." - Vaughn McClure

Week 11 at Seahawks - LOSS

"The Seahawks face an Eagles team that will be rebuilt in Howie Roseman's vision. No Byron Maxwell. No DeMarco Murray. And no Kiko Alonso. Will Sam Bradford be the Eagles' quarterback in this game?" - The great Sheil Kapadia

Week 12 vs. Packers - LOSS

"First-year Eagles coach Doug Pederson has a long history with the Packers as Brett Favre's long-time backup. He’s got his own quarterback issues to deal with in Philadelphia." - Rob Demovsky

Week 13 at Bengals - LOSS

"This is the fourth team with a new coaching staff that the Bengals will face. Philadelphia's biggest changes are coming on offense too, which doesn't bode well for a matchup against a defense that seemed to get stronger this offseason." - Coley Harvey

Week 14 vs. Washington - LOSS

"This will be a pivotal game after the last several weeks -- and if the Redskins want to keep their playoff hopes alive they’ll have to beat the Eagles on the road. It won’t be easy but it will be done." - John Keim

Week 15 at Ravens - LOSS

"Many will wonder who will be quarterbacking the Eagles at this point. Sam Bradford? Chase Daniel? A highly drafted rookie? Does it matter? Philadelphia returns eight starters from a defense that ranked 30th in the NFL last season and allowed more than 25 points nine times." - Jamison Hensley

Week 16 vs. Giants - WIN

"The Giants have been outscored 54-7 the past two years in Philadelphia, and things aren’t getting a lot better this time on a short week. Victor Cruz scores a touchdown in the place where he tore up his knee, which makes for a good story. But the Giants suffer another tough division road loss." - Dan Graziano

Week 17 vs. Cowboys - WIN

"In 2008 the Cowboys needed a win in Philly to make the playoffs and lost 44-6. They could be in another winner-take-all scenario. The Cowboys have won four of their last five games at Lincoln Financial Field, so they have found the unfriendly confines pretty friendly of late. But they did lose Tony Romo to a collarbone injury there last year. The good karma can't last." - Todd Archer

...

FINAL RECORD: 5-11

5-11 would mean two less wins from last year's 7-9 finish. It would probably also mean that the Birds finish last in the NFC East.
