Philadelphia will appear in the final game of the first round of the 2024 NFL Playoffs.

If you’re looking to get this not very fun Philadelphia Eagles season over with as soon as possible, well, 1) I can’t blame you and 2) I have some bad news ...

The Birds will be playing their wild card playoff game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night. It’s an 8:00 PM Eastern start on ESPN.

It’s their fifth Monday game this season.

It’d be pretty annoying if the Eagles make us stay up late again just to watch them play terribly. Could be nice if they tried not do to that.

On the bright side, the game taking place on Monday gives their injured players more time to heal up. Maybe the Eagles could benefit from having a breather.

Then again, the last time they had extra prep time going from a Sunday to a Monday was their Week 15 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. You know, when they panic demoted Sean Desai to replace him with Matt Patricia of all people? I wonder how that move is working out.

Here’s the entire “Super Wild Card Weekend” schedule (all times Eastern).

AFC — 8:00 PM — No. 6 Miami Dolphins at No. 3 Kansas City Chiefs (Peacock)
