Eagles at Giants Week 18 game preview and predictions

Leading up to this game, I’ve seen sentiment that the Philadelphia Eagles are ready to turn it around after hitting rock bottom.

People feel like the vibes are better after A.J. Brown spoke at his locker.

If you’re there, good for you. I’m not trying to yuck your yum.

But if you’re here for my honesty ... the truth is I’m not there at all.

Last week’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals was unforgivable. You simply cannot get your asses kicked by a bad team at home like that with so much on the line. That is incredibly unserious. Fittingly so for a team that unnecessarily pressed the panic button after just two straight losses to two of the NFL’s better teams.

Maybe they beat a really bad Giants team. Maybe they don’t. It probably doesn’t matter since there’s simply no way the Dallas Cowboys are losing to the tanking Washington Commanders.

The Eagles have had 17 games to show us who they are. I’m not about to expect something different.

Will the Eagles beat the Giants?
