Eagles-Bucs instant reactions

Let’s talk about it...

I’m convinced that the Eagles did NOT want to win this game.

This was an overall uninspiring performance from the Birds start to finish. It honestly felt like they didn’t care.

Tampa Bay completely dominated the Eagles in the first quarter racking up 178 total yards compared to the Eagles 26.

After the first two plays, the Eagles got away from running the ball. D’Andre Swift had 16 yards on 4 carries in the first half. This is pretty insane when you think about how he ran all over the Bucs Week 3, finishing with 130 yards (the most TB had allowed all season.)

They also had no third down conversions the entire game.

Tackling was piss poor. It’s a consensus that James Bradberry has got to go.

And to think it could’ve been soooo much worst but the Bucs had several drops throughout the game.

The Eagles got embarrassed 32-9.

Baker Mayfield threw for 337 yards with 3 TDs and 0 interceptions.

Rachaad White had 72 yards on 18 carries and Cade Otton had 89 yards on 8 catches.

Jalen Hurts finished 25/35 for 250 yards with 1 TD.

A.J. Brown was out for this game but DeVonta Smith was a bright spot for this offense, he finished with over 148 yards.

The defense also gave this team a spark with players like Fletcher Cox, Milton Williams, Nolan Smith and BG coming in clutch with big plays but none of that mattered because the offense was unable to score.

To make things worse, it’s probably the end of an era for BG, Fletcher Cox and Jason Kelce so it really sucks that this disappointing performance may have been their final games for Philly.
