Eagles vs. Bucs: First quarter scores updates

PLAYOFF FOOTBALL, BABY!

NFL: Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Nathan Ray Seebeck-USA TODAY Sports

The wait is finally over!

It’s win or go home, and the Philadelphia Eagles have focused on being 0-0 heading into their NFC wild card game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night.

The Eagles have not looked like a playoff team these past six weeks, but at one point this season, they were able to overcome challenges week-after-week to pull off wins. Hopefully, they’re able to put their recent slump behind them and get back to closing out games the right way.

It has felt like Philly coaches were trying too hard, over-correcting things, and just panicking through their issues. There should be a focus on Monday to get back to basics, simplify things, and do all the stuff that got them to 10-1 before going off the rails.

If nothing else, the Cowboys collapse on Sunday was entertaining, but an unexpected wild card win for the Eagles would really change the vibes around this team.

Hang out here for updates and to chat, celebrate, vent, and argue in the comments!

SCORE UPDATES

1Q - 5:47 [Eagles 0, Bucs 10]: Bucs score the first TD of the night on a pass to a wide-open David Moore, who ran it through four Eagles defenders and into the endzone.

1Q - 10:02 [Eagles 0, Bucs 3]: Somehow the Eagles defense kept the Bucs from getting into the end zone, and Tampa Bay was forced to settle for a 28-yard field goal.

[Stay tuned: This section will be updated with each scoring change.]
