The Philadelphia Eagles issued their third and final official injury report on Saturday in advance of their Monday Night Football wild card playoff game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Eagles ruled two players OUT: A.J. Brown and Sydney Brown.

News of A.J. being ruled out was first reported earlier on Saturday morning. Not good! The Eagles still have enough talent to win without him ... but this is obviously a big loss.

Sydney suffered a torn ACL in Week 18. The Eagles can open up a roster spot by putting him on injured reserve.

The Eagles ruled one player questionable: Reed Blankenship.

Nick Sirianni said Blankenship will be a game-time decision. The second-year safety did not practice all week. It’s typically rare for players after not practicing at all. If Blankenship can’t go, that leaves Kevin Byard as the only healthy safety on the active roster. Avonte Maddox has been preparing to play safety this week, so it could be him next to Byard on the back end with Bradley Roby playing nickel corner. The Birds could also look to bring up Tristin McCollum (and Mekhi Garner?) from the practice squad for more depth.

Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith, D’Andre Swift, Darius Slay, and Britain Covey are all listed without game statuses.

They’re ready to play.

LB Shaun Bradley
LB Nakobe Dean
S Justin Evans
OT Roderick Johnson
CB Zech McPhearson

There is no timeline for a Dean return. Evans is out for the season. Bradley, Johnson, and McPhearson will miss the entire 2023 season since they were placed on IR ahead of roster cuts to the 53-player limit.

CB Isaiah Rodgers

Rodgers is suspended for the entire 2023 season due to gambling. He can apply for reinstatement in 2024.

The big news is that Bucs starting quarterback Baker Mayfield is questionable to play. He was limited on Friday and Saturday. He’s expected to suit up but he could be hampered. His backup is Kyle Trask.

Special teams contributors K.J. Britt and Josh Hayes are both questionable to play. Britt fully participated on Saturday while Hayes was limited all week.
