The Eagles are road favorites against the Giants in Week 18

Imagine putting faith in Philadelphia’s football team.

Despite getting outplayed at home by the Arizona Cardinals, the Philadelphia Eagles are expected to win their final game of the regular season. The Birds are five-point road favorites against the New York Giants in Week 18, according to DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Eagles did beat the Giants by eight points in Week 16.

Of course, that game was in Philly. And it was started by Tommy DeVito. The G-Men looked more competitive after he was benched in favor of Tyrod Taylor.

Taylor nearly led the Giants to an upset win over the Los Angeles Rams at MetLife Stadium in Week 17. Mason Crosby missed a 54-yard field goal that likely would’ve given New York their sixth win this season.

This poorly-coached Eagles team can absolutely lose to the Giants.

It’s possible they won’t even be trying their hardest to win. If the Dallas Cowboys get up big on the Washington Commanders, the Birds might decide to pull starters early with no hopes of winning the NFC East.

And even if the Eagles ARE trying their hardest to win, well, that might not mean much considering how toothless they look right now.

I’m done giving the Eagles the benefit of the doubt. Honestly, it sucks that we have to be subjected to watching two more games of their garbage. Give me the Giants plus the points.

What say you?
