Eagles vs. Patriots: First quarter scores updates

WE’RE BACK! The Philadelphia Eagles finally open their 2023 season with a road game against the New England Patriots on Sunday afternoon.

No one is sleeping on the Birds this year after a record-breaking season in 2022 — the roster is still loaded and there’s no reason they shouldn’t still be fun as hell to watch. Still, it’ll be interesting to see if they’re able to sustain such a high level of play, and how that will look with some of the exciting new additions.

We didn’t get to see most of the starters in the preseason, so hopefully there isn’t any rust to shake off in Week 1, and they can play smart, clean football.
