The 5 Players The Eagles are Considering at Pick 30

Its hard to figure out what to consider pick 30 for the Eagles as its the second pick but still in the first for a draft most "experts" consider to be relatively flat between 15-60. Its probably easiest to believe that the Eagles will trade out of this spot, but if they stay, here are the 5 players i think they will consider:

1) Adetomiwa Adebawore DE/DT Northwestern - Adebawore is the Eagles most mocked player here at 30, and so its a bit chalk but it makes a lot of sense if pick 10 ISNT Jalen Carter. Adebawore feels like a worthwhile risk- his athleticism and motor will most likely make him a rotational player at the least. While 5 sacks and 5 TFL don't jump off the page, he was playing across the line and he has shown some production to back up the athleticism.

2) Bryan Bresee DT Clemson- read above, if not Carter, Breese would be a good fit. He reminds me a bit of Dickerson in that he had a considerable amount of obstacles to overcome in college, but he is a leader and when he was on the field he was an impact player. At the beginning of the cycle Bresee was a top 10 pick, and i can only imagine the injury history and lack of reps have pushed him down. He's a great fit here.

3) Darnell Wright OT Syracuse - This feels like a sweet-spot for the Eagles and offensive line. Last year they invested a 2nd in a backup C. The year before Dickerson, who is now a pro-bowl caliber guard. This year Wright would check a lot of boxes for the Eagles. He is one of the more explosive OTs (broad jump) in the draft, and it's not a terrible idea for the Eagles to continue investing in the OL.

4) Darnell Washington TE Georgia- He went to Georgia which is a plus. More than that though, Washington is a unique player. His size and blocking allows for him to become an immediate weapon at TE2 in an Eagles scheme that will prioritize running the ball and screens. His size is a mismatch nightmare and would be another piece to the dynamic Eagles passing attack. Washington wouldn't be a backup in my mind, he would be part of the WR3/TE2 rotation, and so unlike the OT/CB positions, Washington would get immediate action and impact.

5) Deonte Banks CB Maryland - Banks looks the part, he might be the drafts most athletic CB. He backed it up as he was only targeted only 60 times (15% of coverage snaps) and allowed a minuscule 26 catches in (43% completion). Banks is a fun guy to get in the building and have him learn from Slay and Bradbury for a year or 2.
