Happy New Years Eve BGN!

The Philadelphia Eagles are at home at Lincoln Financial Field and will host Jonathan Gannon and the Arizona Cardinals in a must-win game for both pride and playoff seeding.

The Eagles finally broke their losing streak last week against the Giants, but the mood was anything but celebratory after their Christmas Day victory. Still, there are two games left for this team to build some momentum heading into the postseason, and a win over Gannon is the perfect starting point.

With the Cowboys beating the Lions on Saturday night, the Eagles still have a chance to get the overall No. 1 seed in the NFC, but do need to win out in order to win the NFC East and secure that spot. Here’s hoping we can all celebrate after the game and into 2024.

Hang out here for updates and to chat, celebrate, vent, and argue in the comments!

SCORE UPDATES

1Q - 0:36 [Eagles 7, Cardinals 3]: Jalen Hurts led the Eagles on a nine-play drive down the field, ending with a 12-yard pass to Julio Jones for a touchdown.

1Q - 5:09 [Eagles 0, Cardinals 3]: Arizona had to settle for a 28-yard field goal by Matt Prater, but they did get on the board first Sunday afternoon.

[Stay tuned: This section will be updated with each scoring change.]
