The San Francisco 49ers have been crying and filling their diapers since the moment last year’s NFC Championship Game ended after the Eagles stomped a mud hole in them. With a rematch set for this Sunday, the Niners spent all week talking trash and relitigating things that normal people had forgotten about months ago.
There was nonsense before the game started when San Francisco ran through the Eagles sideline and it finally boiled over on the field halfway through the third quarter. The Birds completed a pass to Devonta Smith and Niners LB Dre Greenlaw suplexed him out of bounds into Philadelphia’s sideline.

The Eagles took exception to his over-the-top hit and Philadelphia head of security, Dom DiSandro, stepped in to pick Smith up and get him away from the fracas. Greenlaw then took a swing at DiSandro, grazing his cheek, and was hauled away by the officials and his teammates.
Eventually the officials decided to eject both Greenlaw and DiSandro, but not before penalizing Greenlaw which gave the Birds the ball in the red zone where they eventually scored a touchdown to cut the San Francisco lead to 21-13. There was also pushing and shoving after the Eagles touchdown between A.J. Brown and multiple Niners.
