The Philadelphia Eagles issued their first official injury report on Wednesday in advance of their Week 17 game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Note that this report is an estimation because the team held a walkthrough in lieu of a normal practice since the team played on Monday.

One player was listed under DID NOT PARTICIPATE: Darius Slay.

Slay is on track to miss his third straight game after having arthroscopic knee surgery. It was previously said that he’d be back for the end of the regular season so perhaps he’ll be ready to play in Week 18. In the meantime, Kelee Ringo will likely continue to start at cornerback across from James Bradberry.

Two players were listed under LIMITED PARTICIPATION: Zach Cunningham and Nicholas Morrow.

The Eagles’ top two linebackers might be able to play this weekend. If not both, Morrow seems closer to returning since he was a game-time decision on Christmas.

Two players were listed under FULL PARTICIPATION: Landon Dickerson and Avonte Maddox.

Dickerson is set to return after missing Week 16 due to thumb surgery. Sua Opeta played well at left guard in his absence but Dickerson is obviously an upgrade.

Maddox was a full participant in practice last week after the Eagles opened his 21-day window to return from injured reserve. He was ruled out prior to game day, however. Maddox might be able to play this week. Even if he does, he might be on a pitch count in his first game played since Week 2.

The Cardinals are a bit banged up.

Four starters did not practice: quarterback Kyler Murray, wide receiver Marquise Brown, outside linebacker Zaven Collins, and defensive lineman Jonathan Ledbetter.

Murray is dealing with an illness. He’ll likely be fine to play on Sunday.

Brown was unable to play in Week 16. It looks like he might miss Week 17 as well. Brown ranks second on the roster in receiving yards, only behind tight end Trey McBride. Hollywood gave the Eagles some trouble last year with eight catches for 78 yards and one touchown.

Collins is a new addition to the injury report this week. Among players on the Cardinals’ roster, he ranks tied for fourth in sacks (3.5) and tied for third in TFLs (5).

Ledbetter leads all Cardinals 3-4 defensive ends in snaps played this season. Between him and Collins, the Cards might be missing some members of their defensive front.

Arizona listed seven players as limited. Former Eagles defensive back Andre Chacere is in that group. So is outside linebacker Victor Dimukeje, who ranks tied for second on the team in sacks. As is Garrett Williams, who has been playing at nickel cornerback.

In addition to the injured players on their active roster, the Cards notably have leading tackler and old friend Kyzir White on injured reserve.
