Eagles Injury Report: Mix of good news and bad news

Thursday news and updates.

The Philadelphia Eagles issued their second official injury report on Thursday in advance of their Week 13 game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Five players were listed under DID NOT PARTICIPATE: Dallas Goedert, Fletcher Cox, Zach Cunningham, Justin Evans, and Grant Calcaterra.

All of these players were also DNP on Wednesday and are thus tracking to miss Sunday’s game.

Goedert was doing some work on a side field, which could be a positive sign as it relates to him potentially playing in Week 14. But the Eagles will miss him against the 49ers. With Calcaterra also expected to be out, Philly’s three tight ends will be Jack Stoll, Albert Okwuegbunam, and Noah Togiai (projected practice squad elevation). But perhaps they’ll add Zach Ertz to the mix if he goes unclaimed on waivers?!

Cox being out isn’t good. The Eagles really need to stop the 49ers’ rushing attack and having him would’ve helped in that regard. Ditto for Cunningham at linebacker.

Evans is still not ready to be activated from injured reserve.

Three players were listed under LIMITED PARTICIPATION: A.J. Brown, Jordan Davis, and Julio Jones.

Brown was also limited on Wednesday and Thursday last week before being upgraded to full go on Friday. Guessing that’ll be the case again this week. He should be able to play.

Davis is likely being managed to get to Sunday. Ditto for Jones.

Four players were listed under FULL PARTICIPATION: Lane Johnson, DeVonta Smith, D’Andre Swift, and Milton Williams.

All four players were upgraded to full after being listed as limited on Wednesday. Good news in terms of them being able to play.
