I have so many questions.
Can we get just one, JUST ONE, stress-free game where the Eagles comfortably blow out a team?
Why in the world did it take just over two minutes remaining in the second quarter for A.J. Brown to get his first target?!
What sense does it make for Kenny Gainwell and Boston Scott to get more carries than D’Andre Swift in the first half?!
Why was it so damn hard for the Birds to tackle Josh Allen?!
But at the end of the day the Birds continue to JUST WIN, so how can you be mad when they beat the Bills 37-34 and now they’re 10-1?!
It was truly a tale of two halves.
In the first half the Eagles looked bad.
Jalen Hurts looked bad: 4/11 for 33 yards with zero touchdowns an interception and 7.0 passer rating. He added seven carries, 22 rushing yards with a touchdown and 1 fumble.
The Bills also outgained the Eagles with 276 total yards to 99 at halftime. Just pathetic.
But in the second half they came alive (like they normally do).
Jalen Hurts finished with 265 total yards and had touchdown passes to three different receivers: A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and now Olamide Zaccheaus.
D’Andre Swift had 80 yards on 14 carries.
James Bradberry came in clutch with an interception and Brandon Graham had a SACK on the day where he set the franchise record for most regular season games played (189).
Shoutout to Jake Elliott for drilling a 59-yard field goal to send game into OT.
Josh Allen finished 29/51 for 339 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. He also added 81 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
Gabe Davis led the the Bills in receiving yards with 105 yards on 6 catches and a touchdown.
