The 2022 NFL Draft is in the books! That means now it’s time for undrafted rookie free agency. All of the draft-eligible players who were not picked are now free to sign with any team.

This year’s UDFA class is expected to be more talented than usual due to the impact of COVID-19. There are more draft-eligible players than usual. And with Philly making a limited number of selections, Howie Roseman said he’s challenging his scouts to make this a very strong UDFA class for the Birds.

Feel free to use this post as an open thread for the next few hours as there will be some reports surfacing regarding the Eagles‘ 2022 undrafted free agent signings. We’ll use this post to track all of UDFA news and rumors. Check back often for updates.

Please note that all of these reports are not necessarily official. Things can change and sometimes rookie minicamp tryouts get reported as UDFA signings. Still, this tracker should give us a good idea of which longshot players the Eagles will ultimately add to their roster.

It took nearly two weeks for the Eagles to announce their UDFA signings last year so there might be a delay in officially confirming these additions. Regardless, we’ll have UDFA scouting reports posted here on Bleeding Green Nation in the near future.

Players who reportedly signed with the Eagles

Miami OT Jarrid Williams

San Diego State OG William Dunkle

Oklahoma State OG Josh Sills

Idaho DT Noah Elliss

Brown QB EJ Perry

MTSU S Reed Blankenship

Utah WR/RS Britain Covey

Oklahoma RB Kennedy Brooks

Nevada QB Carson Strong

Alabama CB Josh Jobe

Clemson CB Mario Goodrich

Duke CB Josh Blackwell

Quick thoughts

  • Noah Elliss is the brother of Eagles linebacker Christian Elliss (spent time on the practice squad last year).
  • Britain Covey was an effective college punt returner with a 11.9 average and four touchdowns scored. Nice special teams add.
  • Carson Strong! The QB Factory keeps churning, baby. That’s an interesting one. Arguably the top UDFA player on the market.
  • The Eagles reportedly “came in with a very late strong offer” for Florida A&M safety Markquese Bell but he decided to join the Cowboys instead. Boo!
  • The Eagles’ first three leaked UDFA signings were secondary players. No surprise there.
