The 2021 NFL season officially kicks off with a Thursday Night Football matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and reigning Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

These teams haven’t played a regular season game against each other since 2018 and both teams look considerably different now-a-days, but the Cowboys do lead the all-time series between the two, 13-4.

However, Dallas’ two-game win streak over Tampa Bay could come to an end, with the NFC East team having more than a few continuity issues through the preseason — Dak Prescott missed most of training camp rehabbing his shoulder, and the starting offensive line got a total of three series together due to absences from injury and COVID designations. Plus, the Buccaneers have Tom Brady, and hate him as you may — and trust me, I do —, he’s still able to run an effective offense and pull some tricks out of his sleeve as needed.

Here’s everything you need to know about tonight’s game.
