Eagles vs. Patriots joint training camp practice live updates

Today’s news tracker!

NFL: New England Patriots Training Camp Paul Rutherford-USA TODAY Sports

Here we go! After 12 training camp sessions of facing off against their own teammates, the Philadelphia Eagles will now get a new challenge with the New England Patriots coming to town for two joint practices.

It’ll be especially interesting to see how Jalen Hurts and the offense fares against the Pats since the Eagles’ offense has been uneven in camp. And can the Eagles’ defense have a good showing against Cam Newton and Mac Jones?

It’ll also be interesting to see a couple familiar faces back in Philly. Both Jalen Mills and Nelson Agholor signed with New England in the offseason. Lesser known former members of the Eagles include Devin Ross and Akeem Spence.

The two teams will begin practicing today around 10:00 AM Eastern. Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen will speak before practice at 9:40. Some players will be made available to media after practice.
