During halftime of the Eagles first preseason game of 2021, the team announced their most recent Hall of Fame inductees: left tackle (and BGN Radio alum!) Tra Thomas and right tackle Jon Runyan.

These two inductees should come as no surprise, with Thomas playing in all but 10 games during his 11-year career in Philadelphia (1998-2008) and earning three Pro Bowl nods. Runyan lined up on the opposite side of the line from Thomas for nine overlapping years (2000-2008), earning one Pro Bowl nomination, and having never missed a game during his career with the Eagles.
Both Thomas and Runyan ended their careers one season after leaving Philadelphia, and only playing part of the 2009 season with their new teams, Jacksonville and San Diego, respectively. Still, both guys were huge anchors for the offensive line under Andy Reid, and are more than deserving of their induction to the Eagles Hall of Fame.
Congrats to the two legends!
