Jordan Mailata is having an impressive summer.
On the field, the Australian native is clearly outplaying Andre Dillard to earn the Eagles’ starting left tackle job. And not just because Dillard has looked bad and is now injured but because Mailata has been very good on his own merits. He’s having a very strong camp.
Off the field, Mailata is apparently dazzling teammates with his singing ability. The following clip was recently filmed inside the NovaCare Complex’s auditorium and originally posted on Shaun Bradley’s Instagram story:

For some, this clip of Mailata singing Tennessee Whiskey by Chris Stapleton seems to be their first exposure to his musical talents. Especially as his visibility and importance to the team have increased.
For others, they’ll recall Mailata’s singing and guitar-playing from his rookie season three years ago.

Have you ever seen a 6’8”, 365-pound behemoth come off so smooth and graceful? Mailata’s truly a treasure. Fun player to root for!
