In case you somehow forgot, Jalen Hurts changed his jersey number earlier this offseason. The Philadelphia Eagles’ presumed 2021 starting quarterback is now wearing No. 1 instead of No. 2.
And now we have our first actual (read: not photoshopped) look at Hurts in a No. 1 Eagles jersey. Behold:

It’s a pretty clean look, don’t you think? Definitely an aesthetic upgrade from No. 2.
Safe to say Hurts would look even cooler if he plays well in that jersey number. There’s a lot of pressure on the second-year signal-caller as he tries to impress in training camp before carrying over that success into the regular season. We’ll soon see if he’s up to snuff.
Elsewhere in the “first look” category, here’s what DeVonta Smith looks like wearing an actual Eagles jersey (read: not photoshopped like the million DeVonta pictures that existed before he was even drafted by Philly).

Pretty nice.
No. 1 connecting with No. 6 has the potential to look very good for the Eagles this year.
