Things are so negative in the Philadelphia sports world.

I know the fervor of the faithful BGN readers never quits, but for Eagles fans at large, there just isn’t the type of buzz you would expect in a normal NFL offseason. I’ve been complaining nonstop for seemingly the last year-plus, so I brought some positivity on the latest episode of From the Bleachers on BGN Radio.

I decided to rank my favorite games as an Eagles fan. There are a lot of caveats here. I was born in 1994. I’m 27. I only have concrete memories dating back to the 2001 season. If it was before my time, it just didn’t feel right to include. Are the 1960 NFL Championship Game and the 1980 NFC Championship Game legendary moments in Eagles lore? Of course, but I have no tangible connection to them.

Another point: The Pickle Juice game was in 2000 and is certainly one of the best games this century for the Eagles. I had just turned six a couple of months before. I don’t remember a single thing. Hand up! I’m not going to pretend I was breaking down the 4-3 defense back then.

I picked 20 games in all to discuss on the pod. Here are a few of the games I covered:

20. Week 9, 2013: Eagles at Raiders

The legend of BDN begins!

15. Week 11, 2002: Cardinals at Eagles

Donovan McNabb fights on through the pain.

10. Week 14, 2013: Lions at Eagles

5. Week 17, 2008: Cowboys at Eagles

44-6. ‘Nuff said.
