Let’s get to the Philadelphia Eagles links ...

Ex-Eagles coach Doug Pederson on return to an NFL sideline: ‘I want to do it again’ - NJ.com
Pederson took part in the Ron Jaworski Celebrity Golf Challenge Monday, during which he appeared on The Anthony Gargano Show on 97.5 The Fanatic. Pederson said that although he enjoyed his time coaching in Philadelphia, he would welcome a chance to return to an NFL sideline. “The competitor inside wants to continue to compete,” Pederson said. “Hopefully, I get an opportunity to lead another football team and do the same things again and learn from the last five years—what a great teaching moment for me. I always talk about how we learn from failures and different things like that. I don’t want to say that this was a failure, but at the same time, I want to learn from the last five years moving forward in my next opportunity.”

Weapon X Mailbag: What will the first post-pandemic Eagles tailgate be like? - BGN
I want to be down there Week 2. The Eagles are coming off a big road win in Atlanta and hosting the 49ers. I get in the lot, put on “Everlong” by Foo Fighters and stare into the distance of the Sports Complex, soaking up something I haven’t experienced in what feels like a lifetime. I want to bear hug my friends, whether they be guys from South Philly I’ve known my whole life or college pals or nitwits I’ve become close with on Twitter over the years. I want to take a sip of the world’s coldest beer while wearing a Jalen Hurts jersey, zone out and forgot all of life’s troubles for a second while Dave Grohl sings, “And I wonder when I sing along with you...” I want to take a roadie for a walk across the street to the Linc, make my way to the top level, and, most importantly, see the Eagles put one in the win column.

2021 NFL Preview: How did the Eagles become such a mess? - Yahoo! Sports
The Eagles, for one reason or another, botched a chance to be a mini-dynasty. They were set up well. They whiffed on many personnel moves — GM Howie Roseman is still around, which perplexes some Eagles fans — and the infighting seemed to eliminate any remaining chance of getting back to another Super Bowl. Perhaps we can blame Doug Pederson and Carson Wentz and assume that because they’re gone the Eagles will bounce back, but the problems seem deeper than that. It might be another long season in Philadelphia. And if it is, there will be more wild stories to follow.

Kelce celebrity bartending at the shore for Eagles Autism Challenge - NBCSP
Jason Kelce will be guest bartending at a bar in Sea Isle on Wednesday to raise money for the Eagles Autism Foundation. Kelce, the Eagles’ three-time All-Pro center, will be pouring drinks along with some of his teammates at Ocean Drive from 4-8 p.m. It’s part of Kelce and his “Team 62’s” participation in the annual Eagles Autism Challenge. There will also be raffles, auctions and exclusive Eagles merchandise for sale to raise money for the Eagles Autism Foundation. The Eagles Autism Challenge has raised more than $10 million since 2018 for research and programs associated with autism.

Is Tanya Snyder’s ‘promotion’ a sign that husband Dan is running for cover? - Hogs Haven
The Washington Football Team franchise announced today that Tanya Snyder, who is part owner of the team along with her husband Dan Snyder, has been named co-CEO. Mrs. Snyder has seemed increasingly involved, at least publicly, with the team and high-level communications in the past year or two, and this move to cement and formalize her involvement seems to confirm that her role in the family business has grown. The official press release from the front office stressed Mrs. Snyder’s past involvement in many aspects of the organization.

Potential trades that could significantly upgrade the Dallas Cowboys cornerback position - Blogging The Boys
Xavien Howard potentially being on the trade block is a bit of a surprise considering he’s one of the more productive, young CBs in the league right now. Surprise or not, Howard isn’t happy with the Miami Dolphins as things stand right now. His unhappiness led him to skip mandatory minicamp in June due to the his displeasure with his current contract. The 2020 First-team All-Pro is coming off a 10 interception season and believes he’s outplayed his current contract, despite having three years remaining. If he sticks to his guns he could force the Dolphins hand and force them into trading him away similar to what they did with Minkah Fitzpatrick not long ago. If that happens, the Cowboys could potentially be interested.

Giants 2021 roster profile: LB Blake Martinez answered his critics last season - Big Blue View
There is no reason to think Martinez won’t have another excellent season, that he won’t continue to be the glue for the defense in the huddle and in the middle of the field. Martinez will almost certainly be the one linebacker who rarely comes off the field. The one thing that will be interesting, should the Giants as expected play more man-to-man defense, is how well Martinez holds up in those coverage situations.

Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne brought ‘some new life’ to the Patriots’ wide receiver room - Pats Pulpit
At least as far as Agholor is concerned, head coach Bill Belichick also confirmed this during a media conference call last month. “He’s a smart kid,” Belichick said about the former first-round pick. “He’s got a lot of position flexibility and good skill and talent. He’s like everybody else, learning from scratch, learning a little bit of a new offense and some things; the way we call things and do things and all that, but nothing that he or any other new players can’t handle. It’s just part of the process, but he’s doing well. Good to work with him.” Given that Agholor and Bourne are projected to see heavy action as part of New England’s rebuilt passing arsenal, statements by teammates and coaches are obviously encouraging. Now, however, comes the hard part: living up to them and actually helping the Patriots offense get back on track.

Dak Prescott declines to state his vaccine status, says it’s a personal decision for everyone - PFT
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott declined to state whether he was received a vaccine for COVID-19 and said that he wouldn’t push teammates one way or another with their decisions when it comes to the subject. “For me I think it’s important just for everybody to educate themselves on the reason of why to get vaccinated and why it can either help in their cause or maybe help the world,” Prescott said in an interview with Newy Scruggs of NBC DFW.

NFL will not hold supplemental draft for second straight year - NFL.com
The league will not hold a supplemental draft in 2021, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported, per a source informed of the decision. Under the league’s collective bargaining agreement, the NFL has the right to decide whether to conduct a supplemental draft each year. Last year, the league decided against holding the event largely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After the league cancelled last year’s supplemental draft, it informed prospective supplemental draft picks they would not gain free-agent status but could instead enter the 2021 NFL Draft. Essentially, those looking to latch on with a team in the summer instead had to wait nine months for a chance. It is realistic to expect the league to deliver the same directive to those hoping to enter the supplemental draft this year.
