The NFL officially announced spring offseason workout dates for all 32 teams on Thursday afternoon. Here’s the schedule for the Philadelphia Eagles:
Rookie minicamp — May 14-16
OTA workouts — May 25-27, June 2-4, June 14-17
Mandatory minicamp — June 8-10
Eagles players won’t be participating in voluntary OTA practices this year, however, due to their collective decision to not attend. The Eagles are just one of more than half of the teams in the league to make such a choice.
Unless they’re willing to be fined, Eagles players will be in attendance for the team’s mandatory minicamp at the NovaCare Complex during the second week of June. That’ll be the first time they hit the practice fields together as a team this offseason under new head coach Nick Sirianni.
I’m looking forward to hopefully bringing you practice notes from those three minicamp sessions in about a month’s time. The team will then break for the summer before returning to training camp in late July. That’s when it all begins again.
