Eagles spring practice live updates

NFL: Philadelphia Eagles-Minicamp Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

If you missed it last week, an announcement was made about Eagles players and Philadelphia’s coaching staff agreeing to a modified spring workout plan. Players decided to reverse course on their decision to collectively opt out of voluntary workouts with the compromise of no mandatory minicamp and no 7-on-7 or 11-on-11 drills.

And so the Eagles will be holding “teaching pace” practices this week and next week. Media members (myself included) are permitted to attend today’s session, though only for the first 15 to 20 minutes. So, no traditional practice notes to be had, unfortunately.

But, hey, I’ll still do my best to glean the most I can from the limited action we do get to see. It’s the first time this year’s team will hit the field together in this capacity under Nick Sirianni.

Key times for today:

11:15 am … Practice begins (open to media for warmup and individual drills only)

12:30 pm … Player videoconferences begin (timing approximate)
