NFL: Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Now that we’ve gone through win-loss predictions for the Philadelphia Eagles’ 2021 schedule, why not also do that with the rest of the division? And so that’s exactly what RJ Ochoa and I did for the latest episode of the NFC East Mixtape, hosted both on the Bleeding Green Nation and Blogging The Boys podcast feeds.

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

Much has been made about the Eagles having the league’s easiest schedule. But is that truly the case? Expectations for this team seem to be low but might the Birds be able to surprise? I think I might've gone a little high with my prediction.

BLG’s prediction: 8-9

Over or under 6.5 wins for the Eagles in 2021?

DALLAS COWBOYS

The Cowboys are considered the division favorites. But is Dak Prescott going to be totally fine coming off a major injury? Will the Dallas offensive line hold up? Are we forgetting that Mike McCarthy isn’t a good head coach? RJ and I really disagreed on this one (surprise).

RJ’s prediction: 12-5

Poll

Over or under 9.5 wins for the Cowboys in 2021?

WASHINGTON FOOTBALL TEAM

Could Washington be the first NFC East team to repeat as division champs since 2004? The combination of good coaching, a quarterback who can get hot, and one of the NFL’s best defenses gives them a chance. People might be sleeping on them with Dallas getting all the hype.

BLG’s prediction: 9-8

Over or under 8 wins for the Football Team in 2021?

NEW YORK GIANTS

The Giants upgraded their roster this offseason but there are still question marks about Daniel Jones and New York’s offensive line. Are the Giants more likely to take a step forward or a step backward? RJ argues it’s the latter.

RJ’s prediction: 5-12

Poll

Over or under 7 wins for the Giants in 2021?

In addition to predicting final records, RJ and I also discussed the strange bunching of NFC East games at the end of this year’s schedule. Is the league trying to put this division out of sight and out of mind early in the year? What happens if one team runs away from the pack? Also, we talked about our favorite soups.
