What’s your most controversial NFL opinion?

Please stop holding out on us.

NFL: Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

We’ve hit a bit of a lull in the NFL news cycle with free agency hype behind us and the NFL Draft still more than a few weeks away. So, why not spice things up with some hot takes?

R.J. Ochoa, our enemy from Blogging The Boys, and I recently got together for a special edition of Monday Football Monday on The SB Nation NFL Show to discuss our most controversial opinions based on this offseason.

Naturally, the Philadelphia Eagles came up in conversation. I don't know how controversial you’ll find it but my argument is that no team in the league has a wider potential range of outcomes this season. I tend to think the Eagles will be in competition for the No. 1 overall pick (I’m sure some here will strongly disagree) but I don’t think it’s impossible they can find a way to win the NFC East.

Speaking of the division outlook, I also don’t think the Dallas Cowboys should be considered runaway favorites. All that and more in this week’s show! Give it a listen and subscribe/download/rate/review if you’re feeling generous.

Also drop your own most controversial NFL opinion, Eagles-related or otherwise, in the comments below!

P.S. Don’t forget to check out this week’s episode of The ODDcast, in which Rob “Stats” Guerrera and I analyze the Sam Darnold trade and run through one favorite over/under win total bet in every NFL division:
