Trade the Draft for Watson?

The third civil lawsuit has been filed against him with another six to follow according to the plaintiffs attorney. Jeff McClain's article suggests Howie has inquired about trading "it all" for the QB.

So the question then becomes is he the person they want to be the face of the franchise? We're talking about the owner who gave Mike Vick a second chance btw. Secondly is he worth trading basically two drafts and Hurts for him?

Trading three #1's, a 3rd and Hurts leaves very little left to build a team around him. After all Houston went 4-12 with him and you could argue they had better skill position players. After listening to the presser yesterday it seems clear Howie will target a QB. Now the scandal brewing in regards to Watson may or may not be legitimate. Regardless is it wise to risk two drafts and the fans scorn if the league suspends him for conduct unbecoming? Does he take that risk? Or does he pivot to Seattle and take a shot at Wilson, a player six years older than Watson?

This might not end well. Because of the value Howie places on the QB position I'm afraid he will deemphasize the rest of the team to get his QB. When he made the move for Wentz he had a solid nucleus in place and a franchise QB on a rookie deal. Now? He'll pay $157 million to Watson while surrounding him with not one legitimate all pro player player on the team. I know Lurie doesn't want to own the Bengals east but going for broke seems misguided.

Hard pass. I'd rather he ride with Hurts this year and draft 7-8 young players to rebuild the team.
