It’s Super Bowl Sunday!
Super Bowl LV will feature plenty of storylines when the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the Lombardi Trophy at 6:30 PM in Tampa, FL — the Bucs are the first team to play in a Super Bowl in their home stadium.
The Chiefs are looking to be the first team to get back-to-back championships since Tom Brady and the 2003-04 New England Patriots. Brady’s second consecutive win came at the expense of Andy Reid and the Eagles, and I’m guessing the head coach hasn’t forgotten.

This is the first time these teams have ever met in the playoffs, but they did face off a couple of months ago during the 2020 NFL season, with the Chiefs getting a 3-point victory in Tampa Bay.
As far as former Eagles competing on Sunday, there are connections on both sidelines. With the Chiefs, you’ve got head coach Andy Reid and long snapper James Winchester, and on the Buccaneers, running backs LeSean McCoy and Kenjon Barner — and center A.Q. Shipley who is on Tampa Bay’s IR.
