The Philadelphia Eagles issued their second official injury report on Thursday in advance of their Week 9 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
One player DID NOT PARTICIPATE: J.J. Arcega-Whiteside.
It looks like JJAW will miss this week’s game as he recovers from an ankle injury. It’s probably for the best considering he’s been banged up all season long. His (likely) absence leaves the Eagles without their usual dedicated blocking receiver and a special teams contributor.
Five players were LIMITED PARTICIPANTS: Jalen Reagor, Jack Driscoll, Javon Hargrave, Fletcher Cox, and Zech McPhearson.
Reagor being upgraded from DNP to limited is a positive sign. The Eagles might be treating him lightly to make sure he can play on Sunday. We’ll have to see how he does on Friday to get a good gauge for his weekend status.
Driscoll was limited for the second day in a row. If he can’t start at right guard, Nate Herbig will play in his place.
Hargrave is following the same track he was on last week; DNP on Wednesday, limited on Thursday. He should be able to play.
Cox should be able to play considering he was being rested.
McPhearson might have a shot to play. The Eagles might want to play it safe and not push that hamstring, though.
Five players were listed as FULL PARTICIPANTS: Anthony Harris, Jordan Mailata, Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson, and Shaun Bradley.
Harris will return to the lineup as the starting safety next to Rodney McLeod.
Mailata was upgraded from limited to full, which is a good sign.
Kelce and Johnson will be good to go after resting on Wednesday.
Bradley should be good to go after being upgraded to full participation.

The Chargers’ Thursday injury report is nearly identical to Wednesday’s version. The one change is that starting quarterback Justin Herbert was upgraded to full go. As expected, he’ll start on Sunday.
Starting cornerbacks Michael Davis and Asante Samuel Jr. missed practice for the second day in a row. Not a good development for LA’s pass defense.
