Before the eighth Sunday of the 2021 NFL regular season kicks off, let’s have some fun by taking a look at the spreads for the Week 8 games. You can CLICK HERE for straight up NFL picks without regard to the spread. You can find all of the NFL betting lines via DraftKings SportsBook.

My overall record so far is 58-48. That’s just ahead of the BGN Community, which is 55-51.

Here are the latest suggestions when trying to beat the odds.

NFL WEEK 8 GAMES

CINCINNATI BENGALS (-11) at NEW YORK JETS: I mean, have you seen the Joe Burrow to Ja’Marr Chase connection? The Bengals are quite capable of putting up points. The Jets aren’t threatening to do much with Zach Wilson under center, let alone Mike White. PICK: Bengals -11

TENNESSEE TITANS at INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (-2.5): The points might seem tempting but it seems too simple that the Titans are going to sweep the Colts to essentially decide the AFC South this early. Tennessee is coming off back-to-back wins over Buffalo and Kansas City, which is impressive. But this is a team that lose to the friggin Jets just earlier this month. They’re capable of slipping up. The Colts need this game more to keep their season alive. PICK: Colts -2.5

MIAMI DOLPHINS at BUFFALO BILLS (-14): The last time these two teams played, the Bills won by a score of 35-0. The Bills are going to roll again in this one. Buffalo is well-rested coming off a bye and they’re angry about blowing a game that should’ve been theirs to Tennessee. Time to take the frustration out on an inferior opponent. PICK: Bills -14

LOS ANGELES RAMS (-16) at HOUSTON TEXANS: What are you actually betting on if you’re taking the Texans here? Like, what do you feel good about that makes you think they can cover? Davis Mills stinks. The Rams had some struggles against Detroit, sure, but that was in part due to allowing an onside kick and two fake punt conversions. Houston probably isn’t going to be as aggressive. PICK: Rams -16

PITTSBURGH STEELERS at CLEVELAND BROWNS (-4): Are the Steelers any good? Not really. But they’re not a joke. The Browns are the better team but this game will be a close one. Pittsburgh covers in a loss. PICK: Steelers +4

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (-3) at DETROIT LIONS: This line was at 3.5 all week so it appears so late money has come in on the Lions. Detroit feels like a good bet given how they’re more formidable than their 0-7 record indicates. It feels like they’re due for a win and it might very well come against a disastrous Eagles team. PICK: Lions +3

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (-4) at CHICAGO BEARS: Yuck. It’s hard to count on either of these quarterbacks or head coaches right now. The points are tempting from the standpoint that it’s hard to trust the favorite to play well enough to cover. Counting on a close game. When in doubt, roll with the home dog. PICK: Bears +4

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS at LOS ANGELES CHARGERS (-4): The Bolts are back from their bye to kick some ass. Justin Herbert’s gotta get his revenge after being blown out by Bill Belichick last season. PICK: Chargers -4

JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS at SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (-4): Yet another awful matchup. The Seahawks haven’t been super inspiring with Geno Smith at the helm. But they haven’t been a total pushover. And it’s impossible to bet on Urban Meyer. PICK: Seahawks -4

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (-4) at NEW ORLEANS SAINTS: The Saints’ defense might be able to make life uncomfortable for Tom Brady. But it’s still Brady versus Jameis Winston. PICK: Buccaneers -4

WASHINGTON FOOTBALL TEAM at DENVER BRONCOS (-3.5): Denver is 0-4 since beating NYG, JAX, and NYJ. Teddy Bridgewater’s limitations have been on display against better teams. Washington isn’t exactly a better team but they did put in a good effort in Green Bay last weekend. The defense didn’t get absolutely destroyed. It’s conceivable that they can do enough and Taylor Heinicke can outgun Bridgewater to win outright. PICK: Football Team +3.5

DALLAS COWBOYS at MINNESOTA VIKINGS (-2.5): With the uncertainty around Dak Prescott’s playing status, gonna have to take the Vikings. Not going to OK with getting a pick wrong because I counted on Cooper Rush to come through. PICK: Vikings -2.5

NEW YORK GIANTS at KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (-10): The Chiefs are notoriously not good at covering but this is the Giants we’re talking about here. New York’s win over Carolina last week was more about the Panthers being bad than it was the G-Men suddenly turning a corner. PICK: Chiefs -10
