It’s everyone’s fault

I’m fed up and I know I’m not alone.

Whatever gauntlet of emotions that Eagles fans are going through, their feelings are valid.

The Eagles are an embarrassment right now.

I try to be optimistic about the Birds every season. I want the Eagles to succeed more than anything. I wanted Nick Sirianni to be a great hire. I wanted to believe Jonathan Gannon would run a wrecking multi-front defense. I so desperately wanted Jalen Hurts to be The Guy.

It just looks like none of that is happening.

Blame the owner, coaches, quarterback, equipment manager, smoothie chef, etc. It’s all deserved. It’s everyone’s fault.

Some figures in the Eagles organization deserve more blame than others certainly. Don’t let that fact dissuade Birds fans from spitting venom at every corner of this lagging franchise that resembles the Jets and the Browns of old rather than the Ravens and Bills.

How can the season already be over and it’s not even Halloween yet? I worry that this year could end up worse than 2012, 2015 and even 2020. Hell, maybe it already is.

I can’t even throw my energy into getting excited about the prospect of having three first-round picks in next year’s draft because, more likely than not, the man responsible for the Eagles’ dearth of talent will be the one making those selections.

I’m burning out.
