We’ll get to see Geno Smith’s debut as the starting quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks (2-3) on Sunday Night Football when the team takes on the Pittsburgh Steelers (2-3) in Week 6.
The Seahawks lead the all-time series between these teams, 10-8, including the past two meetings. Most recently, Seattle narrowly got a road win in Pittsburgh back in Sept. 2019, 28-26.
This time, however, Russell Wilson won’t be able to lead the team to victory, as he was placed on IR this week due to a finger injury sustained last week. Seattle would go on to lose to the Rams, 26-17, in Week 5, with Geno Smith finishing the game 10-of-17 passing attempts, for 171 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
