The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced the inactives list for their Week 17 game against the Washington Football Team.
The following players are out: Carson Wentz, Alshon Jeffery, Miles Sanders, Fletcher Cox, Dallas Goedert, Richard Rodgers, Derek Barnett, Michael Jacquet, Jordan Mailata, and DeSean Jackson.
Wentz’s expected absence leaves the Eagles with Jalen Hurts and Nate Sudfeld at quarterback. Sudfeld is active for the first time since Week 1 and could play if Hurts is taking a beating out there and/or the game gets out of hand.
Jeffery wasn’t listed with a status on the final injury report but he’s being kept out. Nice to see the Eagles finally deactivating him and playing Travis Fulgham instead. Only took the season effectively being over.
Hopefully all these absences will ensure an Eagles loss to Washington.
