The final game of the 2020 NFL season is a Sunday Night Football matchup that will feature the no-chance-at-playoffs Philadelphia Eagles (4-10-1) and the could-win-the-division Washington Football Team (6-9). Sure, the Eagles don’t have much to play for, but they do have the chance to spoil the Football Team’s postseason dreams.
If Washington wins Sunday night they win the NFC East and head to the postseason. If the Eagles win, the NFC East will go to the winner of the Cowboys-Giants game earlier in the day.
This Week 17 division matchup will be interesting with a slew of recent personnel decisions on both sides of the ball. Philadelphia announced on Saturday that NINE players would be out Sunday, including Miles Sanders, Fletcher Cox, and DeSean Jackson. Washington released Dwayne Haskins last week — after issues both on and off the field — and will reportedly start Alex Smith at quarterback with Taylor Heinicke behind him.
Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the game.
