Super Bowl LV is set: the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will face off in the final game of the 2021 NFL playoffs.

Andy Reid’s Chiefs are competing for their second straight Vince Lombardi Trophy. If the former Eagles head coach can lead KC to victory, they’ll be the first team to repeat since the New England Patriots last did it in 2003 and 2004.

The last quarterback to repeat as a Super Bowl champion, then, was Tom Brady, who has the Bucs back in the Super Bowl for the first time since the 2002 season. As you’ve heard a million times by now and you’ll hear a million more, the Bucs are the first team to ever host a Super Bowl in their own stadium.

The rooting interest for Eagles fans in this game should be pretty obvious. Do you really want to see Brady win another title? This year marks his 10th Super Bowl appearance, which is just insane. A pretty cool thing about Brady losing would be that no other quarterback in NFL history would have more Super Bowl losses than him.

Go Chiefs.
