The Philadelphia Eagles cut their roster down to the 53-player limit on Saturday but they’re not done making moves just yet.
Sunday’s action involves the NFL waiver wire and the formation of a 16-player practice squad. The Eagles rank 21st in the NFL waiver wire order so Howie Roseman will have to hope the 20 teams ahead of them don’t want a player so that the Eagles’ claim can be successful. The waiver period ends at 12:00 PM ET today and we’ll find out the results after that.
As far as the practice squad is concerned, read this FAQ for more information on salary, eligibility, rules, etc. Teams can officially begin forming practice squads starting around 1:00 PM ET.
Keep track of the Eagles roster moves below. Check back often for the latest news and updates.

CUTS, WAIVER CLAIMS, PRACTICE SQUAD NEWS, NFL UPDATES
[4:50 PM ET] - THE EAGLES OFFICIALLY SIGNED 15 PLAYERS TO THEIR PRACTICE SQUAD. They left one spot open.
[3:19 PM ET] - Here’s a surprise! The Eagles are bringing Josh McCown back ... on the practice squad! Really like that move. (Source: Adam Schefter)
[2:20 PM ET] - The Eagles officially released Cre’Von LeBlanc (noooo!) to make room for the Jason Huntley waiver claim. Strap isn’t subject to waivers so hopefully they re-sign him after clearing up some more roster spots by sending player(s) to injured reserve.
[2:14 PM ET] - The Eagles reportedly might bring Richard Rodgers back after losing Noah Togiai. Dick Rod is practice squad eligible thanks to those six new veteran practice squad spots. (Source: Jeff McLane)
[2:13 PM ET] - Anthony Rush is joining the Seattle Seahawks’ practice squad. I’d imagine the Eagles will be keeping Raequan Williams as their practice squad defensive tackle. (Source: Dave Zangaro)
[2:00 PM ET] - The Eagles are adding Luke Juriga to the practice squad. Top UDFA signing. (Source: Mike Kaye)
[1:57 PM ET] - The Eagles are NOT signing undrafted rookie free agent cornerback Michael Jacquet to their practice squad. Jacquet earned praise from Doug Pederson at one point during camp. But he also got burned by UDFA WR Manasseh Bailey on multiple occasions so I can’t say I’m totally shocked. (Source: Dave Zangaro)
[1:55 PM ET] - The Eagles are adding Deontay Burnett and Sua Opeta to the practice squad, as expected. (Source: Dave Zangaro)
[1:52 PM ET] - The Eagles are adding Travis Fulgham and Joe Ostman to the practice squad. Ostman deserved to make the team so it’s good to see him sticking around. (Source: Zach Berman)
[12:58 PM ET] - The Eagles claimed Jason Huntley off waivers. Three former Eagles were claimed off waivers with Rasul Douglas and Shareef Miller headed to the Carolina Panthers ... and Noah Togiai headed to the Indianapolis Colts. No other players, including Sidney Jones, were claimed.
[9:13 AM ET] - The NFL’s official transaction wire shows that Grayland Arnold, Deontay Burnett, Travis Fulgham, Elijah Holyfield, Luke Juriga, Adrian Killins, Elijah Riley, and Michael Warren all visited Philly on Saturday. I’d think all of those guys will be on the practice squad. If so, that leaves eight open spots.
