Whoever Wins The NFC East Should Automatically Give Up Their Playoff Game

The Eagles tied to the fucking Bengals, the fucking BENGALS!!! Thankfully I was in a tree stand all day so I couldn't actually watch the game, instead I had to be silently angry as I watched game cast. The Giants got their ass blasted by the limping 49ers, the Cowboys lost to the Seahawks, and Washington lost by double digits to the Browns. The prestigious NFC East records are currently
1) Washington 1-2
2) Cowboys 1-2
3) Eagles 0-2-1
4) Giants 0-3
Somehow even though the Eagles have yet to win a game which is the first time since 1999 they have started 0-3, Doug Pederson was the quarterback for the Eagles that year. The Eagles are only 0.5 games back from leading the NFC East.
Compared to the NFC West where the standings are currently
1) Seahawks 3-0
2) Cardinals 2-1
3) Rams 2-1
4) 49ers 2-1

All of those teams would be first in the NFC East. These teams are clearly better than anybody in the NFC East. The Seahawks are the 3rd best team in the NFL, the addition of Hopkins and the emergence of Kyler Murray has made the Cardinals a legitimate contender, Sean McVay and the Rams look like their Super Bowl hangover is finally gone, and if the 49ers can stay healthy they are a legit team. One of these teams will miss the playoffs, and unfortunately a team from the NFC East will make it.

If the Falcons could stop shitting all over themselves in the 4th quarter the NFC South would also be a solid conference. With the Bucs being 2-1, Saints 1-2, and the Falcons should be 2-1, but they're 0-3. The Saints being 1-2 isn't true to how good that team is, and if Drew Brees could turn into Popeye and actually throw the ball farther than 15 yards the Saints would be even better.

With all of that being said there still needs to be a team to make the playoffs from the NFC East. People are saying that even though the Cowboys are 1-2, that they're better than their record. Sure they can score points, but last time I remembered there is two sides of the ball, and that defense is trash. They can't stop anybody, and Dak can't keep throwing 400 yards a game just so the Cowboys can keep losing. If the Eagles by some miracle make the playoffs it'll be the worst thing that could possibly happen to this team.

The owners will talk themselves into Howie Roseman, and nothing will change with the coaching staff because the story will be that this team regardless of their 0-2-1 start somehow made the playoffs, and battled adversity. The Eagles will just roll out this same team, coaching staff, and front office next year, and they will be dealing with the same problems. Howie decided to let go of veteran players in order to sign younger players, but these young players can't stay healthy. Pederson wrote a book called Fearless, but the big balls that won him the Super Bowl are currently shriveled up. The punting on the last play against the Bengals clearly shows that Pederson has no confidence in this years offense, and that things need to change. If the Eagles make the playoffs, I can clearly see that nothing will change and they'll keep battling mediocrity.
