The Philadelphia Eagles issued their second official injury report on Wednesday in advance of their Week 2 game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Miles Sanders, Jason Peters, Derek Barnett, Fletcher Cox, and DeSean Jackson were all FULL PARTICIPANTS.
Sanders is on track to play after being full go for two days in a row. Great news for the Eagles’ offensive outlook.
Peters was upgraded to full after being limited on Wednesday. He’ll start at left tackle.
Barnett is also on track to play after missing Week 1.
Cox and Jackson were back in full after resting on Wednesday.
Lane Johnson, Brandon Graham, and Javon Hargrave were LIMITED PARTICIPANTS.
Johnson was downgraded from being full, which typically isn’t a good sign. But he told reporters after practice that the team intentionally dialed him back and he’s still going to play ... albeit it at less than 100%. He thinks he’ll get healthier as the season goes along.
Graham was upgraded to being limited after not practicing on Wednesday. Should he continue to progress well, he’ll be cleared to play in Sunday’s game. Graham and Barnett figure to start at defensive end with Josh Sweat and Genard Avery rotating in. Casey Toohill might also see his first NFL action.
Hargrave still might be a week away after being limited for two days in a row. If he can’t suit up on Sunday, the Eagles will likely call up T.Y. McGill to be the fourth defensive tackle behind Cox, Malik Jackson, and Hassan Ridgeway.
Alshon Jeffery was the only Eagles player who DID NOT PRACTICE. He’ll miss this game but he might be able to return as soon as Week 4.
Jersey number note: New Eagles offensive guard Jamon Brown is wearing No. 66.
