Eagles vs. Football Team Week 1 game preview and predictions

How’re you feeling about this one?

Uneasy.

That’s the word I’d use to describe how I’m feeling heading into the Philadelphia Eagles’ Week 1 game against the Washington Football Team.

I’m not among those who might be ready to chalk up today’s tilt as a loss following the Miles Sanders injury news. The Eagles still have enough to walk away with a win from this one.

But, man, it’s hard to not be concerned about this Eagles offensive line. It just feels Carson Wentz is going to be getting hit more than anyone would like to see. And what good are the potential wide receiver upgrades if he doesn’t have proper protection?

The Eagles are fortunate they’re not the only side dealing with offensive line issues. Philly should be able to generate pressure on Dwayne Haskins and force him into some mistakes. Darius Slay proving to be the answer to the Terry McLaurin problem could make life real tough on Washington’s second-year quarterback.

I just don’t feel confident enough in the Eagles today to give them my infamous lock status “Eagles gonna get that W” prediction. Too many nerves for that. It’s more of a soft win prediction from me.

Prove me wrong for being worried, Eagles.
