Former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham, now a member of the New Orleans Saints, had something really ... curious ... to say on Monday afternoon.
Nigel Bradham: It's definitely a different type of environment ... the last 2 organizations I went to, it wasn't really a winning organization. So when you come to a place that's known for winning, known for being in the postseason, you see the different type of culture they have

Huh?
Maybe he misspoke.
But apparently not?
He specifically said last two, don't know though, found it kind of odd myself.

That’s just ... strange.
Look, it’s understandable if Bradham is unhappy that Philly moved on from him. Maybe he really wanted to stay.
But, I mean, c’mon. To say the Eagles aren’t a winning organization is just factually inaccurate. They experienced winning seasons in three out of the four years he was in Philly ... including a SUPER BOWL VICTORY.
The Saints have been better than the Eagles over the past two years, yeah. They’ve gone 26-6 in that span while the Birds are 18-14. Maybe that’s the point he was trying to make.
But that’s not what he said.
Bradham should always be appreciated for his Super Bowl contributions. Still, I’m going to have to bring up what Jim Schwartz once said about the former Eagles linebacker following his second arrest in the span of a few months back in 2016.
“You do dumbass things, pretty soon you’re going to be labeled a dumbass.”
UPDATE: Okay, so it sounds like Bradham may have been talking about when he first joined the Eagles back in 2016 as opposed to his time with then. Still, probably a better way to phrase that.
The Saints posted the transcript like this, although he did not say the part in parentheses: "Its definitely a different type of environment, a different culture. Because the last two organizations I went to weren't really winning organizations (when I first arrived at them)." ♀️
