By an overwhelming margin, we’ll be watching the classic 2004 Monday Night Football Eagles game in Dallas for this week’s watch party in honor of the great Terrell Owens. It also happens to be one of Donovan McNabb’s greatest performances in midnight green.
Here’s what I wrote about the game in the poll article earlier in the week:
Following his infamous Desperate Houswives-themed intro on Monday Night Football (don’t worry, this stream includes it), Owens and the Birds popped off in Dallas. McNabb had his infamous scramble and throw to Freddie Mitchell down the field, while Owens finished with three touchdown receptions. This may be my favorite regular season game from this run.
On Friday July 31 at 7:00 p.m. EST, we’ll be watching one of my favorite nights in Eagles history. As a reminder, we’re going to be using the Watch2Gether site so that we can all simultaneously view the game while having a running text chat.
Simply use the link [here] to join our watch room. Same as last time, feel free to hop in around 6:30 p.m. so we can shoot the breeze before promptly kicking things off at 7:00 p.m.
We’ll be using the #BGN2004MNF hashtag on social media so we can all follow along together too.
Excited to get back to these!
