Today’s Eagles Question of the Day asks you to identify your favorite player on the current roster.
Narrowing it down to a single pick might be challenging for some but not for me. It’s easily Brandon Graham.
Also known as Brandon Lee Graham:
Important Super Bowl update: I confirmed that Brandon Graham’s middle name is Lee. He gave me a fist bump upon realizing we have the same initials. #TeamBLG

My fellow BLG just happens to be responsible for the most important play in Eagles history ... strip-sacking Tom Brady in Super Bowl LII.
It’s great how BLG silenced those who labeled him a bust and complained about how he wasn’t Earl Thomas. Really, there was no better player than him to be the one to do what he did to Brady.
The strip-sack alone isn’t why Graham is my favorite. Everything I know about him off the field indicates he’s just a good and funny dude.
Amazon’s All or Nothing series did an excellent job of highlighting Graham’s fun-loving personality. Here he is roasting the crap out of Dallas Cowboys offensive tackle La’el Collins:
“Fat boy right here” … “Too many cupcakes” … “I know he had a cheesesteak when he got to this motherfucker. Them bitches good as hell, I eat’ em too!”
And yet the series also portrayed him as a great family man, which was nice to see. Some more examples of Graham’s authenticity:

Love how Brandon Graham’s Insta story is him sharing videos of his teammates roasting him#TeamBLG pic.twitter.com/WqFpfj3jVW

BGN Radio alumnus James Seltzer previously shared a personal story that further speaks to the kind of person Graham is. James got to know Graham a little from when he was doing audio work for the Eagles. Some time passed before the two eventually saw each other again when Graham came to 94WIP for an in-studio interview. Graham remembered James from seeing him in the locker room and talked to him about how happy he was that James was advancing his career. Hardly every player would make such an effort.
So, yeah, BLG is my favorite. He’s not the most elite pass rusher but he’s still a good starter who’s responsible for the Eagles winning a Super Bowl. Everything I know about him off the field makes him even easier to root for.
