Eagles Schedule Leaks: Packers and Saints in back-to-back weeks

Could be a tough stretch.

The latest 2020 NFL schedule leaks ahead of Thursday’s night official reveal have the Philadelphia Eagles kicking off the final month of the regular season with a tough two-game stretch.

The Eagles will travel to Green Bay for the second year in a row to play the Packers in Week 13. The Inquirer’s Paul Domowitch notes that this marks Philly’s first-ever December game at Lambeau Field. Temperatures should be pretty cold and it might even be snowy for this one. The Eagles were narrowly able to beat the Packers last year but this should be a challenging matchup.

Things get potentially more difficult in Week 14 with the Eagles hosting the New Orleans Saints at Lincoln Financial Field. Carson Wentz’s last start against the Saints resulted in a 48 to 7 loss at the Superdome. At least the Eagles will have home field advantage this time around. It’s also worth noting that — assuming New Orleans’ leaked schedule is legitimate — the Saints will be playing their third straight road game at the Linc. Getting the Saints, a dome team, in the cold is also preferable to hosting them in the warmth of the early season.

These two games could end up being significant for NFC playoff picture seeding.
