I’ve gotta admit, typing out “former Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins” is strange even though it’s been over two months since the team moved on from him. It still feels like he’s an Eagle.
I mean, Jenkins was just working out in Philly with Rodney McLeod and Will Parks and giving the latter some tips last week. It’s pretty cool to see he’s doing that in addition to still making an impact at a community level.
It’ll be pretty interesting to see just how much the Eagles miss Jenkins in 2020. Jalen Mills — or whoever ends up replacing his defensive role — has some very big shoes to fill.
It’s also going to be pretty strange when Jenkins returns to Lincoln Financial Field as a member of the New Orleans Saints in Week 14 this season.
