Who are you targeting?

With the 2020 NFL Draft officially in the books, the Eagles now have a chance to find some diamonds in the rough of undrafted free agency. After adding a ton of speed on offense and defense through the draft, here are some names to look out for the Eagles to sign and deepen their roster even more.

Joe Bachie, Linebacker, Michigan State

The productive Spartan defender fell out of the draft due to concerns about size and lingering worry about a failed PED test. However, it is worth giving Bachie a look as a depth player at linebacker. Bachie is an intelligent and physical defender who could end up be solid on special teams.

Thaddeus Moss, Tight End, LSU

Given the run on LSU players, it is extremely surprising no one took a flyer on Thaddeus Moss. The 6’2”, 250 pound son of Randy Moss is a gritty run blocker with outstanding hands. He was an unsung hero in a star studded LSU offense, but he contributed as a safety outlet for Joe Burrow. Moss’ receiving prowess, willingness to grind in the running game and NFL roots are more than enough of a reason to call him up.

Hunter Bryant, Tight End, Washington

Another surprising fallen tight end, Hunter Bryant is a good flex option at the position who can play in-line or in the slot. Bryant’s athleticism should be intriguing for the Eagles despite their newfound depth at pass catcher.

JR Reed, Safety, Georgia

JR Reed didn’t put up flashy numbers at Georgia but he was a dependable defender at the back of their defense. Reed is a physical, athletic and intelligent safety who can play in the box, slot or deep downfield. With the Eagles looking to add youth in their secondary, Reed could be a nice add.

Larrell Murchison, Defensive Tackle, NC State

Murchison was highly productive at NC State mostly due to a killer first step and nonstop motor. Murchison doesn’t have an outstanding athletic profile, likely leading to his fall out of the draft. However he is a no brainer add to the Eagles defensive line rotation if they can get him in Philadelphia.

Other names to watch:

Josh Breeland, Tight End, Oregon

Trey Adams, Offensive Tackle, Washington

Lamar Jackson, Cornerback, Nebraska

David Woodward, Linebacker, Utah

Cheyenne O’Grady, Tight End, Arkansas

Khalil Davis, Defensive Tackle, Nebraska

Anthony Gordon, Quarterback, Washington State
