We’re nearing the end of the 2020 NFL Draft and we’ve been bringing constant coverage on the BGN podcast feed. To get you caught up on all that, here’s the freshest look at what we’ve got on the menu...
Want to hear two idiots be completely stunned by the Eagles selection of Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts? No? Trust me, I understand, but just in case here’s me and Shamus Clancy reacting to the pick as we watched it go down live on BGN’s Instagram, which then became the 2020 BGN Draft #12 special.
Shamus’ statement that the Eagles were set up a fool proof pick definitely came back to haunt him, as he predicted. Personally, I was all for a number of prospects that would go soon after. The top player on my board at the time was LSU cornerback Kristian Fulton. So it goes.
The reaction to the Hurts pick by the fan base was understandably confusion as anger. Benjamin Solak did a great job putting everything in perspective in his piece this morning. He also spoke with me about it, along with other topics (like 103rd overall), on The Kist & Solak Show #181.

I’m lucky to have access to one of the best quarterback minds I know, Mark Schofield, and I decided to reach out to him to break down Hurts’ fit with the Eagles. Of course Howie Roseman had to go and say those two magical words so what you’ve known as the The QB Scho Show has been re-branded as The QB Factory. This is the first episode after that switch. Thanks Howie.
After the Eagles’ fourth round selections of Clemson safety K’Von Wallace and Auburn offensive lineman Jack Driscoll, I recorded a quick reaction show to cover the meat and potatoes about those prospects.
Wallace was a favorite of mine from the safety class, but may need to switch to nickel cornerback in the NFL. Driscoll is the obligatory Day 3 depth piece that has enough mobility to function in the Eagles offense but lacks play strength. More of my thoughts are here on the 2020 BGN Draft #13 special...
The shows will continue to hit the feed hot and heavy as we wrap up post-draft coverage when it’s all done and dusted. New to podcasts?! Check out our guide on how to listen and subscribe to BGN! FLY EAGLES FLY!
