The Eagles are getting ready for an important weekend, but that didn’t keep Howie Roseman and his wife, Mindy, from making a very generous donation of delicious pizza to the hospital workers in Philadelphia on Thursday. Not only did they order pizzas, they included a personal note thanking the people for being on the front lines and being such a critical part of the community.

Roseman had previously said that he hopes to use the draft coverage and attention to highlight relief efforts for the community, and this seems like a good start.
Earlier this week, Jeffrey Lurie and the team announced a $1 million donation to several initiatives around the city of Philadelphia with an emphasis towards support of essential healthcare workers and their families. A portion of the donation was made as part of the NFL’s Draft-a-thon to raise money for national non-profits during the three-day event.
