What do you think of these Eagles retro concept uniforms?

We interrupt our regularly scheduled NFL Draft week coverage here at Bleeding Green Nation to bring you a look at these retro concept Philadelphia Eagles uniforms that have been floating around social media. Great job here by Denis Kennedy:

I don’t know about you but I think these are straight fire. I’d love if the Eagles went back to these as their main uniforms. I’d very much settle for their inclusion as an alternate jersey.

On that note, I should remind you that it’s possible we’ll see the Eagles finally wearing Kelly Green on occasion as soon as next year. The NFL has officially stated they’re considering a change to the one helmet rule in time for the 2021 season.

Kelly Green isn’t just popular with a considerable number of Eagles fans. It’s also a look that multiple players have expressed affection for as well. Brandon Graham recently said the following about the color during an interview on Chris Long’s podcast:

CHRIS LONG: We got, NFL fashion advice asks, should we bring back the Kelly Greens?

BRANDON GRAHAM: Yes! I would loooove for them to bring that back, man. I wore that my first game of my career in my rookie year against Green Bay the year Green Bay won it all. We wore them out, the throwbacks, for the first game. And then I ain’t ever see them again. But man, them pants is so sweet, it’s like a little ... cream, with the green, and then the helmet [...]

Graham made the biggest play in Eagles history when he strip-sacked Tom Brady to clinch Philly’s victory in Super Bowl LII. I think it’s only fair to give the man what he wants. Bring back Kelly Green!
