BGN Radio Episode 112!

NFL: Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

The first wave of NFL free agency is essentially over given that it’s been a week since legal tampering began. The Philadelphia Eagles got off to a slow start but the action picked up an continued into the weekend. Jimmy Kempski and I got together on the latest BGN Radio podcast to take stock of the Eagles’ most recent moves and had out some preliminary grades for the overall haul thus far. SHOW TOPICS

  • The Nelson Agholor era is over. Who will the Eagles start at slot receiver in 2020?
  • Is Jatavis Brown the next Kamu Grugier-Hill or the next Corey Nelson?
  • How will Will Parks fit into the defense?
  • The Eagles are reportedly shopping Rasul Douglas. Should they just keep him? What can they realistically get for him?
  • Malcolm Jenkins says he never wanted to leave Philly. What do we make of that and are we underrating how big of a loss he’s going to be? Also, what’s to make of that story that the Eagles let Jenkins leave in part because they want to make it “Carson Wentz’s team”?
  • What’s going on at wide receiver? Are the Eagles being smart by waiting to get a good price in a buyer’s market? Or is the team really just relying on getting some studs in the 2020 NFL Draft?
  • Grading Howie Roseman for what the Eagles have done in free agency so far. There are some things to like but some things to dislike as well. How would YOU grade the Eagles?
